KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: This CHATTEL MORTGAGE, made and executed by JESUS S. SANTOS, Filipino, of legal age, single with residence and post-office address at 555 Muralla St., Intramuros, Manila, herein called the MORTGAGOR in favor of LUZVIMINDA B. TORRES, Filipino, of legal age, single with residence and post-office address at 888 G. Tuazon St., Sampaloc, Manila, herein called the MORTGAGEE WITNESSETH: 1. That the MORTGAGOR does hereby convey by way of CHATTEL MORTGAGE unto the MORTGAGEE the following described personal property, situated and ordinarily kept at 555 Muralla St., Intramuros, Manila and presently in the possession of the said MORTGAGOR, to wit: Make: HYUNDAI Model: GETZ 2006 Type: SEDAN C.R. 2. That this CHATTEL MORTGAGE is given as security for the payment to the MORTGAGEE of a LOAN dated January 13, 2014 for the sum of TWENTY-FIVE THOUSOUSAND PHILIPPINE PESOS (Php 25,000.00). PROVIDED, HOWEVER, that if said JESUS S. SANTOS shall pay or cause to be paid to said LUZVIMINDA B. TORRES, her heirs or assigns, the said sum within the period of three (3) months from and after the execution of this MORTGAGE together with the interest thereon at the rate of three percentum (3%) per annum, this MORTGAGE shall be discharged and of no effect; OTHERWISE, it shall remain in full force and effect and shall be enforceable in the manner provided for by law.

SANTOS, with CTC No. 98764578 issued on January 3, 2014 at the City of Manila and Passport No. 9834678 issued by the Department of Foreign Affairs Manila on May 5, 2012; and LUZVIMINDA B. TORRES, with CTC No.23489765 issued on January 6, 2014 at the City of Manila and Drivers License No. N25-9874345 issued by the Land Transportation Office on July 8, 2012; who are personally known to me and to me known to be the same persons who executed the foregoing document and exhibited to me the above Community Tax Certificates; and were identified by me through competent evidence of identity, to be the same persons in the foregoing document who exhibited to me the above IDs. It was acknowledged to me that the execution of this document is the free and voluntary act and deed of said persons. The foregoing document is a CHATTEL MORTGAGE CONTRACT which consists of three (3) pages including the page whereon this Acknowledgement is written as well as the succeeding necessary Affidavit of Good Faith of both the chattel mortgagor and the chattel mortgagee.
