A Review on Employee Participation in China

Abstract
There is much difference in both research method and context between domestic and oversea studies. Not only definitions and
dimensions, but also antecedents and outcome variables are all at the initial stage, domestic researches are more focused on
introduction and illustration but less on empirical study. Based on the review of domestic researches, it can be found that all the
definitions and scales of employee participation native researchers used were developed by foreign researchers; and then the
directions were put forward for future research through sorting out the pre-existed literatures.
