TODAY MEDITATE ON: ROMANS 6:14 [PR PRINCE] aug.

11, 2013 For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace. - Romans 6:14 The Revelation Of Righteousness Delivers I give thanks to the Lord for all the testimonies Ive received from precious lives touched by Jesus. Heres one from a brother in Australia, who wrote to me to share how he had been delivered from multiple addictions as he started to hear and receive the revelation of his righteousness in Christ: I have just given up smoking by doing what youve taught in your books and DVDsbecoming conscious of and confessing my righteousness in Christwhenever I was tempted to smoke. I have also been set free from 20 years of drug and alcohol abuse, and am free of paranoid thoughts. I couldnt give them up through my own efforts, but through Christ I have. Praise Jesus for His overcoming grace! My friend, Gods provision covers all aspects of life, including deliverance from long-term addictions. When you continually receive Gods gifts of abundant grace, righteousness and no condemnation in Christ, you will walk in His power to reign over every addiction or condition holding you captive today! REAL INTERCESSION : And he saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor. Isaiah 59:16 When somebody hurts us, our natural human reaction is to strike back...to ask God to clobber them. But that's not God's way. I realized that one time when some relatives of mine got robbed. I was praying about the situation and puzzling over it. "Lord," I began to ask, "why did You let that happen? Why didn't You just knock that thief over the head when he tried to do that?" Suddenly, God enabled me to back up from that situation and look at it with spiritual, instead of just purely natural eyes. When I did that, I knew the answer to my question almost as quickly as I had asked it. It was because of His mercy. God has great, great mercy. Not just for me and my family but for theirs too. Think about that next time someone does you wrong. Instead of asking God to knock that person in the head, like I did, consider the fact that--as ornery as he may be--he may well have a grandmother somewhere who's praying for him to be saved. Stop and remember that God loved him enough to die for him, that He's longing to pardon--not punish him. Then you can begin to pray for him instead of against him, uniting yourself with his grandmother (or anybody else who happens to be praying for him). You can go to the Lord for mercy for him and you can go up against the devil on his behalf. That's real intercession and it throws the forces of darkness into total confusion. They have absolutely no defense against it. The Lord is looking for people who are bold enough, committed enough to do that. Dare to be one of them. When you're tempted to clobber somebody, dare to change his life instead. BENEFICIAL POWER : The eyes of the LORD run to and fro . . . , to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him. 2 Chronicles 16:9

Boxing and strong-man competitions have a unique aspect to them. In the events, the athletes compete individually for the purpose of demonstrating their superior strength. Its like arm wrestlingyou do it to prove that you are the strongest person in the room. One aspect of Gods glory is His almighty power. But how does He show His strength? He doesnt do it by rearranging the galaxies before our very eyes, changing the color of the sun at a whim, or freezing a lightning bolt as a trophy to His strength. Instead, in His love and compassion for needy people like ourselves, God has chosen to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him (2 Chron. 16:9). The pattern is consistent throughout Scripture. From the dividing of the Red Sea, to the marvel of manna in the wilderness, to the miraculous virgin birth, and ultimately to the power of the resurrection, our Almighty God has chosen to demonstrate His strength to bless, preserve, and protect His people. Be assured that He delights in showing Himself strong in the challenges of our life. And when He proves His power on our behalf, lets remember to give Him the glory! Lord, thank You for choosing to expend Your divine power on the needs of my life. When my strength is weak, teach me to trust that Your mighty arm is able to guard, protect, and deliver! All of Gods promises are backed by His wisdom, love, and power. Men of God cover your nakedness Ezekiel 37:8 - And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them. Continuing with yesterday's message we read about the vision of Ezekiel wherein he is been commanded by the Lord to speak to the bones to come to life. If we look carefully as Ezekiel obeys the Lord even before the flesh comes in the bones we read the Lord put sinews on the bones. The Hebrew word translated as sinews means small undergarments used to cover the nakedness of man. When God instructed Moses to make a ramp to access the altar of the Tabernacle, He clearly instructed them not to make it as steps but as a slope, the reason being the nakedness of the priests is seen. Was it really God who did not want to see their nakedness? When Adam and Eve covered themselves after they sinned did they really cover their nakedness from God? We see later God Himself killed animals and covered them with the skin of that sacrifice [for they ate these animals for the first time before that they were pure vegetarians]. God is Spirit and He can see even the thoughts of man, even before man thinks them, nothing is hidden from Him. Adam and Eve were hiding their nakedness not from God but from each other and from their own selves. We all are naked inside and no man can say he or she is not, God knows us as we are, for He even knows the count of ever hair on us. When God says nakedness it does not mean just the physical body but emphasizes more on the carnal nakedness of man. A sinful man is a carnal being, a being full of desires that are worldly and foolish. The flesh is just a means for him to gratify these desires. A Man of God is a man who walks in Truth and not in foolishness; he is a person who overcomes the vanity of foolish carnal desires. It is not that a Man of God is free totally of carnal desires. Men of God too get these desires but he has control on them for the Truth is in him.

Yesterday the message was for the leaders of the Church and today the Lord is telling them to cover their nakedness. God is telling them that people are able to see their carnal desires, their nakedness. Adam and Eve tried to cover their nakedness with leaves and twigs but God showed them how to cover their nakedness. He killed an animal - made a sacrifice and with the skin of the sacrifice covered them. We cannot overcome our nakedness by any other way but by covering ourselves with the righteousness of the perfect sacrifice - the Lord Jesus Christ. Unless we do not make the Lord's ways as our ways we will never be able to overcome our nakedness. That is why we need to imitate the Lord everyday of our lives and since we do not know God, Jesus as man became His face for us, so let us imitate Jesus in our lives. Jesus was naked on the cross but his nakedness was covered by His righteousness. It covered not only Him but now also covers us all who walk in His ways. [Prayer Starter] Lord, your Word says the early Christians were called People of The Way because they lived their lives unlike others of this world. During those times your Church grew because You were pleased with them and thus added people unto them. Today Lord, people are compromising your ways with the ways of the world. They give excuses of reaching out to the lost but are bringing people by manipulations and not by getting them to repent and be born again. Lord, we pray a revival amongst the leaders first. We pray they relearn your Kingdom your way and not in the ways the worldly man has taught them. That they cover their nakedness by your righteousness... This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen. [Reference Scriptures] Ezekiel 37:5-12 5 Thus saith the Lord GOD unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live: 6 And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am the LORD. 7 So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone. 8 And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them. 9 Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live. 10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army. 11 Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel [Princes of God / Sons of God]: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts. 12 Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel [Heaven]. Exodus 20:26 Neither shalt thou go up by steps unto mine altar, that thy nakedness be not uncovered thereon. Genesis 2:25 And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.

Genesis 3:6-11, 21 6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat; and she gave also unto her husband with her, and he did eat. 7 And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig-leaves together, and made themselves aprons. 8 And they heard the voice of Jehovah God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of Jehovah God amongst the trees of the garden. 9 And Jehovah God called unto the man, and said unto him, Where art thou? 10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself. 11 And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat? 21 And Jehovah God made for Adam and for his wife coats of skins, and clothed them. OUR WORDS ARE ALIVE : Mark 11:14 "And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it." Notice that this verse says that Jesus "answered" this fig tree. The tree had not spoken to Him verbally but it communicated that it had figs by the leaves on it. It is a fact that a fig tree should have figs by the time the leaves are evident. A fig tree actually produces green figs before the leaves appear and if no figs are produced by that time, then the tree will not have any figs that year. This fig tree was professing something that it didn't have even though it was still too early for figs. Not only plants, but other things can communicate with us too. Circumstances can tell you that you have failed. Your body can tell you that your prayer didn't work - the Lord didn't heal you, etc. You need to follow Jesus' example and answer these things with a positive statement of your faith. What good could it do to talk to a tree or an inanimate object? God created the heavens, the earth, and everything that is in the earth, by His words (Heb. 11:3). The whole creation was made by and responds to words. Our words, when spoken in faith, release either life or death (Prov. 18:21). They also affect people, things, and circumstances. We can release the power that is in faith by our words. Speaking God's Word in faith brings the Holy Spirit into action. In Luke 4, when Jesus was tempted of the devil for forty days, it was the Word of God that Jesus used to defeat the enemy at His temptation. We must take advantage of God's Word by placing it in our hearts so that the Holy Spirit may bring it forth at the appropriate time to accomplish a

complete and total victory. Speak to that mountain in your life. Not for our righteousness Deuteronomy 9:4 - Speak not thou in thine heart, after that the LORD thy God hath cast them out from before thee, saying, For my righteousness the LORD hath brought me in to possess this land: but for the wickedness of these nations the LORD doth drive them out from before thee. We as Christians are called to love even our enemies but when people do any harm to us or to someone concerned we cry unto the Lord asking for justice for it is written it is He Who will take justice. It is at these times we think He listens to our cry because we are good. In today's message the Lord wants to correct us; the reason He punishes our enemies not because we are righteous, meaning because we follow His commandments and do according His will. As we grow in more understanding of scripture we realize before what we knew as being perfect and things we did, was not exactly to what the Lord asked of us; so the question does not arise of us perfectly keeping His will. We only better the process according to our understanding of His will. When God punishes people it is not because someone else is good but because those people whom He punishes are bad. We will understand this in Elijah's prayer to the Lord to stop the rain from falling. When Elijah prayed he did not say 'Lord, because I am a Man of God, You hear my prayer and stop the rain', nor did he say 'Lord, because I did all these things for You therefore You hear my prayer and stop the rain'. When he prayed he knew the Lord would stop the rain because they were sinning greatly against Him and therefore had no right to receive His mercy. In Deuteronomy the Lord committed a person who sins will lose his blessing and be under curse so Elijah took this promise of the Lord since the Lord is a righteous God who hates sin and keeps His promise. The message to us does not only concern someone being punished, it is also concerning our attempts to buy our prayer request from the Lord by doing things. Many think by fasting we can buy our prayer request from the Lord. Fasting does not answer prayers, but by fasting our faith gets built and it's this faith that draws grace and it's this grace that answers prayers. Similarly repentance does not answer prayer but by repentance we come under the grace of God and it is this grace that answers prayers. What the Lord is telling us today is that we cannot buy our prayer request or justice, it is only by the grace and righteousness of the Lord we can.

[ Prayer Starter ] Lord, there are times we foolishly though since we were good You heard our prayer. There were also times when we thought by doing things we could buy the answers to our prayers. We ask You Lord to forgive us for those times. Today You spoke to us that it by your grace and righteousness that we receive the answers to our prayers. We know Lord by faith tapping into your abundant grace, by your promises and by your righteousness we can always defeat the enemy and get the answer to our prayers... This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen. [ Reference Scriptures ] Deuteronomy 9:3-5 3 Understand therefore this day, that the LORD thy God is he which goeth over before thee; as a consuming fire he shall destroy them, and he shall bring them down before thy face: so shalt thou drive them out, and destroy them quickly, as the LORD hath said unto thee. 4 Speak not thou in thine heart, after that the LORD thy God hath cast them out from before thee, saying, For my righteousness the LORD hath brought me in to possess this land: but for the wickedness of these nations the LORD doth drive them out from before thee. 5 Not for thy righteousness, or for the uprightness of thine heart, dost thou go to possess their land: but for the wickedness of these nations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee, and that he may perform the word which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. 1 Kings 16:30-43; 17:1-6 30 And Ahab the son of Omri did evil in the sight of the LORD above all that were before him. 31 And it came to pass, as if it had been a light thing for him to walk in the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, that he took to wife Jezebel the daughter of Ethbaal king of the Zidonians, and went and served Baal, and worshipped him. 32 And he reared up an altar for Baal in the house of Baal, which he had built in Samaria. 33 And Ahab made a grove; and Ahab did more to provoke the LORD God of Israel to anger than all the kings of Israel that were before him. 34 In his days did Hiel the Bethelite build Jericho: he laid the foundation thereof in Abiram his firstborn, and set up the gates thereof in his youngest son Segub, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by Joshua the son of Nun. 1 And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As the LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word. 2 And the word of the LORD came unto him, saying, 3 Get thee hence, and turn thee eastward, and hide thyself by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan. 4 And it shall be, that thou shalt drink of the brook; and I have commanded the ravens to feed thee there. 5 So he went and did according unto the word of the LORD: for he went and dwelt by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan. 6 And the ravens brought him bread and flesh in the morning, and bread and flesh in the evening; and he drank of the

brook. Deuteronomy 11:16-17 16 Take heed to yourselves, that your heart be not deceived, and ye turn aside, and serve other gods, and worship them; 17 And then the LORD'S wrath be kindled against you, and he shut up the heaven, that there be no rain, and that the land yield not her fruit; and lest ye perish quickly from off the good land which the LORD giveth you. LITTER IN THE TEMPLE Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are. (I Corinthians 3:16, 17 NKJV) As His temple (His dwelling place), we must give ourselves a true heart assessment. First, ask God to reveal to you anything taking up space in your heart that is not of Him; anything unhealthy that keeps you from surrendering your whole self to Him (ungodly relationships, fears, idols, etc.). Then ask Him to reveal the lie behind it and then His truth. Removing the junk that takes up precious real estate in our hearts allows more room for Christ to take dominion! Then consider your senses (sight, smell, taste, hearing and touch). Every day we are bombarded with stimulants television, phones, social media, music, pictures, video, food, relational exchanges, etc. Our senses are a good thing! God gave them to us! However, too much of a good thing can be an unhealthy thing; and some of the stimulants we are subjected to, allow or seek can also be unhealthy or even sinful. Ask yourself what stimulants you have in your life and then ask God to direct your steps as to what ones are good and which ones may be unhealthy or even sinful. Allow Holy Spirit to help you create a strategy to limit or even eliminate your exposure to the unhealthy stimulants. Limiting our overstimulation allows us to better hear from God. And He said to them, Come aside by yourselves to a deserted place and rest a while. For there were many coming and going, and they did not even have time to eat. (Mark 6:31 NKJV) Only God can convict us in true heart revelation to a repentant heart. But He is true to His word. If you ask Him, He WILL help you. Be blessed!! ~ Emily DeBoer HOW DO YOU SEE GOD? When Jesus heard these things, He marveled at him, and turned around and said to the crowd that followed Him, I say

to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel! - Luke 7:9 The way you see Jesus, the revelation that you have of Him, will not affect Gods acceptance of you. But it will affect your acceptance of what God has for you. It will affect how you receive from Him. Consider the Roman centurion who told Jesus, You dont have to come to my house. Just speak the word and my servant at home will be healed. (Luke 7:67) Compare him with Jairus, the ruler of a synagogue, who told Jesus, My daughter is dying. Please come to my house and lay Your hands on her, and she shall live. (Mark 5:2223) Do you know that Jesus does not have to go to your house to heal you? So why did Jesus follow Jairus to his house? Jesus had to come down to Jairus level of faith. Jairus believed that his daughter could be healed, but only if Jesus came and laid His hands on her. The centurion was different. He said, Lord, You dont have to come to my house. I know who You are. This centurion believed that Jesus did not have to come to his house for his servant to be healed. He believed that Jesus only needed to speak the word. He said to Jesus, Just speak the word and my servant at home will be healed. Do you know who Jesus is? The centurion had a greater understanding of who Jesus is than Jairus, the ruler of the synagogue, and he wasnt even a Jew! Jesus asked his disciples, Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith? (Mark 4:40) He even remarked, O you of little faith. (Matthew 6:30) But to the woman whose daughter was demon-possessed, He said, O woman, great is your faith! (Matthew 15:28) And to the centurion, He declared, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel! My desire is for you to have an accurate understanding of who Jesus is because when your revelation of Jesus is big, you will know what has been freely given to you. And when you know what is yours in Christ Jesus, you will be rich in all things! Thought For The Day: The size of your revelation of Jesus will affect how you receive from Him.
