Dear Sir or Madam, Dear people of Monpazier, The stakes are high in Monpazier with the coming of local

elections. The local budget which is in deficit and the insistence of the outgoing mayor to magnify his own deeds, whatever the consequences, force us to offer you an alternative : Together, lets build the future of Monpazier. Our team is composed by women and men that perfectly represent the

sociological, professional, political and generational social fabric of Monpazier. All of us, women and men, have different skills which if assembled together, are the guarantee for the implementation of our program in Monpazier. We have the will to involve you fully in our endeavour if you wish to do so. This is a commitment which we made. We have the ambition of representing you with dignity and efficiency within the new collective body for our district CCBDP-, where most of the major decisions for Monpazier shall be taken.

We will be at your service because we cannot conceive of the development of our Bastide without the participation of the women and men who live in this town. Our project, as you have understood by now, places everyone of you at the centre of our efforts. We ask you not to mix the two lists, but to vote for us as a team, to vote for this list as a whole on March 23rd, so that we may together, lets build the future in Monpazier. We count on every single one of you, you will be able to count on us.

Local Finances
The meeting devoted to the vote on the local budget confirmed a deplorable financial situation. We must, therefore, restore the communal finances, without increasing taxes, by tackling the issue of heavy investments unless they can create new important resources right away. It is obvious that certain of our proposals can be implemented rapidly since they do not require a large amount of selffinancing by the community. We present to you all these proposals in the annex, since they constitute a coherent and balanced plan so that we can together build the future of Monpazier.
