First of all, lets thank to Allah S.W.T who has given us many mercies and blessing so we can join in this program without any troubles and dont forget thank to our prophet Muhammad S.A.W who had brought us from the darkness into the lightless Well, ladies and gentlemen, it is an great pleasure I can stand in here, in this occasion I would like to tell you about Education as The Foundation to Build The Strong Nation In one of the discussion in the Congress of Pancasila at Gadjah Mada University (UGM), discussed about the various events and negative cases that be a main problem in Indonesian nation. Including from the case of corruption, delinquency, disintegration issues, law enforcement questioned the fairness and any other problem in Indonesia. There is also an affirmation of Pancasila as the 'spirit' of subjects in Indonesian education. Indonesian nation proclaimed independence on August 17, 1945, and the next day August 18, 1945, Pancasila had been formally designated, as stated in the Preamble of the 1945 Constitution. In addition to served as the basis of Pancasila and also served as the nation's way of life and ideology. All three of these functions created a function that was very central in the life of the nation. Even so often, the problem is how to practice and implement Pancasila in the life of the nation. Practice and implementation of the Pancasilas three functions become more important in the era of globalization. Practice and implementation of Pancasila require a more critical, in-depth and rational. Pancasila is an ideology that serves as a guideline life of the nation, while education is a way to improve the quality of our nation. Education is essentially a conscious effort to develop the personality and ability, inside and outside of school and last a lifetime. Therefore, education should be oriented to the development of two objectives, namely to the moral and intellectual development. Moral without intellectual will be powerless. Intellectual without morals would be dangerous, because a person can use that versatility(Intelligence) to its own interests and harm others. Nowadays we can see many our brothers in remote areas there are many of them who do not get proper education, at least to meet the government's target of 9-years compulsory education program until graduation from high school or junior high school due to cost because it was considered too expensive and profitable some parties or people who were able, parents were even forced to send

their children to work and drop out of school to help meet the economic needs of the family. Education is also a long-term investment; therefore it is a shared responsibility which should not rely on the government alone. How a free education program in order to be effective and well-targeted to poor children and less able to be intentional about free schools program will occur Meanwhile, in Indonesia there is RSBI, its not suitable with the economic condition of Indonesia. So, the government have to do a program with good education but low cost. Indonesia should learn a lot from the developed country such as America, Japan, Russia, the UK and other countries. As we know that these countries have the technological advances that had been highly sophisticated and qualified human resources. So the role of education is very important because it means to develop the potential of every citizen. But education is not merely emphasizing the importance of academic values or intelligence. However, should include emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence. According to the Constitution No. 20 of 2003, which is to develop self-potential students in order to have the spiritual strength of religious, self-control, personality, character, intelligence and skill. Why must Education? Because the big country depends on their technology development, but the technology has to develop by the human resources, so we should have the quality human resources and how to get the quality human resources? Of course with Education. The Constitution clearly states that the purpose of education is not only to make students smart, intelligent, and skilled, but more than that make it a whole person who has the intelligence and intellectual ability, emotional and spiritual. With these capabilities, wherever they may be expected to be successful because of all the steps of motion based on reasoning or thinking high, emotions are controlled and strong motivation, great faith and a clean conscience. If it will be realized then of course Indonesia will produce high-quality human resources, noble and soft skills are highly better today in the world of work. Of course, soft skills are the main benchmarks that support our academic. In order to realize a distinctive identity, Indonesian society should earnestly to direct the minds and trends with one-way built on one principle, in namely Pancasila. "Single principle" is used in the formation of identity as an important things. Conclusion From the above discussion we can conclude that education is an important aspect to build the nation. Almost all nations put development of education as a top priority in the National Development Program. Qualified human resources which is the product of education and the key for the success country. Therefore education is required at all because it provides a very important role both for oneself, others or the State. Pancasila as guidance reform the education system has a very important role that is expected to support efforts to achieve the quality of Indonesian society that can produce human character, quality, good morals as well as soft

skills. Society so as to create a fair, prosperous, affluent, and discerning appropriate described in 1945.
