INTERMEDIATE MANUFACTURING STEPS WHERE CONTROL IS EXCERCISED AND RECORD MAINTAINED;STAGE 1. Raw water is sourced from a well protected Bore well, and being filled in to a water storage pump constructed well tiled. During the filling of storage tank , the raw water is tested for TDS and p H value and recorded. 10 to 12 ppm concentrated commercial grade chlorine is added to raw water storage tank to disinfect the raw water and proper contact time is provided and being recorded for quantity of chlorine added and time of added and time of removal of chlorinated water. STAGE 2. Raw water is then pumped to SAND FILTER , to remove the suspended particles , after doing the back washing and rinsing process. Turbidity test is conducted by the in-house laboratory and being recorded. STAGE 3. The turbid free raw water , the sand filter output is directed to flow with flowing rate recommended to ACTIVATED CARBON FILTER , after back washing and rinsing checked for removal of undesired odour , and checked for complete removal of chlorine which is added at raw water storing tank. This is checked by chloretex method for chlorine remocval and recorded. STAGE 4. Through the pre micron filter the ACF out put is sent in to REVERSE OSMOSIS SYSTEM and the output is tested for TDS and P H value and stored in the stainless steel tank where the ozonater pipe is droped in to ozonise the content . STAGE 5. This stage , the water is drawn and sent to UV housing where the UV lamps will glow and kill the bacteria , this water is filtered through Micron filter through 5 and 0.5 micron filters . Thus the water is purified at different stage and being recorded.

PROCESS DISCRIPTION:

Raw water is extracted from Bore well which is 6 inches Bore, with a depth of 430feet consisting of three streams, obtained first source at 180 feet, second source at 230 feet. It is providing a yield of 4000 gallons per hour. A 2 and inch cpvc pipe line is used to extract the raw water from Bore and got filled in a sump , well protected and layered tiles with a storage capacity of 35000ltr . While filling the raw water to tank, its TDS and Ph is noted and recorded. \ SEDIMENTATION AND CHLORINATION: As a first stage of operation, 1200 to 1250ml of chlorine of 11 to 12 ppm concentrated, is added to35,000 ltr of raw water and allowed a contact period of 2 to 3 hours, there by proper sedimentation of heavy particles settles down at the bottom and a proper chlorination takes place. With the contact period given.

SAND FILTERATION: A Three HP , SS pump with a 12000 ltr per hour pushing capacity is used for a RO of 1000 ltr per hour capacity. This pump sends the water to sand filter unit consists of pubble, silica and fine sand filled 3/4th of the vessel. Initially back washing is done with Sand filter unit till proper washing of sand is made, approximately for 5 minutes. Then Rinsing is done for about 5 minutes again, till the water found crystal clear, and all turbid are removed Then checked for Turbidity test in the in house laboratory and after ascertaining the turbidity test results passing it is sent to next stage of operation:

ACTIVTED CARBON FILTER:

The turbid free chlorinated water is sent in to a vessel capacity of filling 2000 ltr of water per hour, containing. activated carbon. At this stage of operation, 5 minutes of back washing is done and then 5 minutes of rinsing is done , till it is confirmed that , chlorine is removed. This is further reconfirmed the chlorine content in water by chlorotex method. On ascertaining the product is free from chlorene, sent in to next stage of operation.

PRE MICRON FILTERATION:

Turbid free , chlorine free, sand and ACF treated water is sent into RO through pre micron filter, so as to reduce the load on RO membrane.

REVERSE OSMOSIS SYSTEM:

The ACF output water is sent through a pre micron filter to a RO shell containing 250 ltr per hour capacity 4 membrane so as to obtain 1000 ltr per hour .This product water is less than 60 TDS and Ph value between 6.5 to7.5 . To obtain 1000 ltr of product water, around 1000 ltr of water is sent as wastage. And this wastage water of above 900 TDS is used for own land which is in the same premises. This RO system , has got inbuilt Pannel board, which display on line TDS

of the product water. The RO output water is measured for its TDS and Ph after recording the same which is TDS between 50 to 60 and Ph between 6.5 to7.5 and sent for next stage of operation

POST FILTERATION UNIT:

This system consist of UV housing to kill the bacteria and three micron filters of 5 micron ,1 micron, and 0.5 micron' capacity respectively functioning in filtration system. This system of operation will help to act against micro organisms, and then send for next stage of operation.

OZONISATION :

A ozanator , self generating of ozone is used and the extracting the ozone through the pipe immersed in the final tank, ozone bubbles will get mixed with the product water, by giving ozonization. This provides shelf life to the product. Such ozonised, micron filtered ,UV treated,RO based activated carbon filtered and sand filtered packaged drinking water is sent to filling line of 20 ltr manual filling.
