I have attached two abstract representations of what can be called the Structure of Consciousness.

Each picture represents the same thing, from a slightly different angle. Further is a very, very briefly description of a little bit of each level of this structure which has many implications.

From the linear perspective of the physical mind this structure of Consciousness is seen as an evolution which unfolds in a certain order, namely from Top-Down, each level emerging from the previous one in a root-and-branch fashion. -The Source fragments Itself in OverSouls. The OverSoul 1 in the picture represents the Collective Soul of humanity, while the OverSoul 2 to OverSoul n are the collective Souls of all the other non-human beings from other civilizations, or lets say other evolutionary complexes. The line that links the The Source with the OverSouls is interrupted because the OverSouls could integrate further in OverSouls of OverSouls and the whole structure could go on and on in a very large number of upper levels. However, the number of levels is finite, since we assume that there exists one and only one Source, one Root from which everything emerges. - an OverSoul fragments further in individualized Souls, which are, in a sense, extensions of that Oversoul through which the OverSoul expresses itself by choosing to have physical experiences; - an Individual Soul splits further in two components: Higher Mind and Physical Mind which are close connected to each-other. In this relationship, the Higher Mind acts as a guide for the Physical Mind, communicating with it through the conduit of excitement, which is nothing but the natural vibration of the Higher Mind. This natural vibration of the Higher Mind is translated or decoded in physical reality as excitement or joy in order to guide you to do the most appropriate thing for you. Therefore, the wellknown expression follow your Bliss or listen to your heart means following the guidance of your Higher Mind. If your Physical Mind works in harmony and in alignment with the Higher Mind you allow yourself to function as a whole being at the level of physical reality. - at the lowest level of the structure stands the Physical Mind. In this context we can use the terms Incarnation or Personality as synonyms. The relationship between a Higher Mind and Physical Minds is one to many. For example, all my past, present and future lives ( Incarnations or Physical Minds ) are nothing but extensions of the my Higher Mind, manifested in physicality as different persons. One of this persons is me in this particular incarnation I experience. From the timeless perspective of the OverSoul everything is created all at once and all the levels are seen not from a linear but from a parallel reality perspective. All these levels can be regarded as different aspects of Consciousness through which Consciousness experiences Itself in all the possible ways It can. Each human being can be seen as a different aspect of the same Consciousness, therefore, when two human beings are talking to each other, they are co-creating, in a sense, an experience in which in fact Consciousness is talking to Itself; seeing Itself from two different points of view, perceiving Itself from two different angles. These levels are different in many ways. One difference stands in the degree of limitation that is experienced in each level, in the following way: The more you go down in the structure, more limitations are added up at each level, reaching finally the physical world that has the greatest degree of limitation. In the upper direction, the more you go up, the less limitations are found, reaching the top of the structure where there are no limitations; thats why, in kabbalistic terms the Source is called EinSof, or Limitless Light.

Template Reality level This level separates the non-physical reality of the Higher Mind from the physical reality of the Physical Mind. It is a kind of a hybrid level, or in a certain sense, a kind of an interface that allows the communication between the Higher Mind and the Physical Mind. What comes from the Higher Mind goes through the Template Reality level into the Physical Mind. Here are found all the collective agreements or limitations that has to be added and needed to be added in order to be able to have a physical experience; without this agreements the experience of physical reality would not be possible at all; gravity is an example of a collective agreement. Here are also found the individual agreements which is the theme that the Soul chooses to explore in physical reality. For example, if I am a successful politician I choose to explore that theme of being a leader, of having power while if I am a child dying of hunger in Africa I chose to explore that theme of being helpless, powerless. To make an analogy with the game of chess, first you create the game board and lay out the foundation of the game ( collective agreements) and then you create the pieces and define for each piece what moves can make in the game ( individual agreements ). Physical Mind level Beliefs systems are upper in the structure than feelings and thoughts, which means that Beliefs systems determines what is experienced below, namely feelings and thoughts and not the other way around. Beliefs generate feelings which generate thoughts. From that perspective the beliefs are closest to the Higher Mind than Thoughts which are the furthest. Therefore, when I, for example feel and think negative about a situation, the question that I should ask myself is : What I must to believe is true in order to have these feelings and these thoughts that I have? By identifying and changing the belief system that generates the feelings and thoughts then the feelings and thoughts that I perceive in the field vision of my awareness are changed automatically, so I dont have to work an every thought that I have. Beliefs are higher in vibration than feelings and thoughts. Therefore, to find the beliefs you always go UP in vibration, not DOWN. PS: The terminology used is one of the many ways of expressing the Structure of Consciousness. I find this terminology simpler to understand and more in accordance with the terminology used by the Reiki Academy. The same structure could be expressed in kabbalistic terminology for example, but this would be more difficult to grasp for it is criptic and it needs a certain understanding of kabbalistic concepts; otherwise it doesnt make too much sense. However, this particular terminology has a great degree of flexibility. For example, instead of OverSoul could be used the term Collective Soul, instead of Higher Mind could be used the term Higher Self, instead of Physical Mind could be used the term Personality and so on.
