DSA-88 Antifoam Compound

Description
ANTIFOAM COMPOUND DSA-88 is a special designed 100% high concentrate antifoam compound, and can be easily formulated into a stable emulsion which is designed to control foam in aqueous systems, with good resistance to acids and alkalis, it can be used for a wide range of applications.

Applications
It possesses good resistance to alkalis and acids. It is useful for combating foam generated in surfactant containing formulations. It has proved ideal for foaming control in textile auxiliaries. It is used to remove various foam of processes and waste water treatments.

Processing
For a high concentration 30% emulsion, the following formula is recommended Water(1) DSA Dispersant DSA-88 Antifoam 5KG 3KG 27KG 65KG 0.4KG 0.1KG 100.5KG

Water(2) CB-3 thinkener Anti Microbicide TOTAL(30%)

1 Add Water(1), DSA dispersant and DSA-88 antifoam into the tank. Emulsify with medium speed (2000rpm~2500rpm) for roughly 15 minutes. 2 Add Anti Microbicide to Water(2), then add to the tank slowly in 5 portions, roughly 10 minutes each, viscosity fluctuations are normal. 3 Add CB-3 thinkener, mix until the emulsion is well dispersed. 4 The 30% solution is made. 5 Dilute to 10%~20% emulsions before usage, should be filtered and viscosity further enhanced before use.

Storage
When stored in its original unopened packaging at a temperature between +5 C and + 40 C, DSA-88 may be stored for up to 16 months from its date of manufacture (expiry date). Comply with the storage instructions and expiry date marked on the packaging. Past this date, TAI COUNTY no longer guarantees that the product meets the sales specifications.
