That section 50-5 of the Walworth County Code of Ordinances entitled "Human Services Priorities" is hereby amended so as to create paragraph (h) thereof to read as follows:
Sec. 50-5. Human services

I.

Title: An Ordinance Amending Chapter 50 of the Walworth County Code of Ordinances


Relating to Priorities of the Health and Human Services Department

II.

Purpose and Policy Impact Statement: The purpose of this ordinance is to specify that certain licensing and inspection activities, currently provided by the State of Wisconsin, will not be a priority of the county. The ordinance prohibits further county expenditures on this subject withoui approval of the county board.

III.

Is this a budgeted item and what is its fiscal impact: Approval of this ordinance can be accomplished within the approv ed 2014 county budget. State law prohibits the county from charging fees in excess of the cost of providing licensing and inspection services; therefore, implementation of an inspection program would be either 1er.y neutral or would add to the tax le'uy, depending upon the amount of fees charged by the county.
