I. Brief Background of the Case My Appliance Center is an appliance center established by the Chan family in mid 1998. Mr.

Romeo Chan took over when elder Chan passed away. Mr. Chan chose Mr. Cruzada to become the mana er of the company because of his e!periences and a raduate of marketin course. Mr. Chan ave the all authority to Mr. Cruzada" he chose Mr. Ruiz to become his assistant because of their lon friendship. #ut Mr. Ruiz did not finish his colle e. #ecause of Mr. Cruzada$s e!periences and knowled e on this business he made so many accomplishments for the company. %ntil Mr. Cruzada decided to retire" Mr. Chan became the president. And &e decided to hire his fellow raduate at Ateneo 'chool of #usiness Mana ement" Mr. Alvin Min to become the ne!t mana er. #ut Mr. Min has no e!perience in appliance operations. (he dilemma was Mr. Ruiz e!pected that he will become the ne!t mana er. II. Objectives of the Case Analysis (he main ob)ective of this case analysis is to developed different alternative courses of actions that Mr. Chan can use in decidin what actions to e!ecute. V. Best Course of Action

As already indicated in the alternative analysis" Mr. Ruiz as a mana er may not be ideal solution since he has lack of educational back round and the same with Mr. Min he has lack of e!perience in this field of business. (he best course of action is to ask Mr. Ruiz to stay and retain as the Assistant Mana er and help Mr. Min in mana in the business. (his course of action will produce the reatest benefits and least harm to the company and to all involve personalities. #oth Mr. Ruiz and Mr. Min can combine their knowled e and e!perience to help each other and make the company more productive.
