Goal 1: Establish and nurture positive and productive relationships with the faculty and staff of the Youngsville Elementary School family that may serve as the launching pad for a year of observations, evaluations, curricular support, and crucial conversations. Objective A: Develop a constructive relationship with all certified teachers.
Actions for Accomplishing Objectives Send introductory letter to all faculty and staff members. Timeline July 16 Completed yes Impact My letter gave the staff a personal and professional view of me. It showed them that I was an ally. My mentor principal and assistant principal, both commented that is was eloquently written and aligned with the school mission and vision. The staff viewed me as someone who really cares because I made time to speak with them individually. They are very friendly with me. I demonstrated my role as an instructional leader- by listening, addressing concerns when needed. I was able to provide support because teachers said they valued my opinions since I have not been out of the classroom that long. I gained the experience of the administration functioning as a team. I was able to voice my thoughts as well as listen others point of views. The staff appreciated the kindness and the genuine acknowledgement of their hard work. A teacher assistant told me that some

teachers were talking about how they liked my notes. The staff viewed me as someone who was interested in them as individuals with lives outside of school. I have had several conversations throughout the year with faculty and staff. This allowed the staff to view me as a visible administrator throughout campus. I gave a survey to faculty and some of the comments mentioned that I was very visible and approachable.
