Abstract: The Tamil Nadu factor in India-Sri Lanka relations that had been quiet for long has come to the fore in the form of the fishermen issue. Frequent incidents of fishermen from Tamil Nadu getting shot in the Sri Lankans maritime boundar ha!e enraged all citi"en of the state. From Tamil Nadu about #$%&&& boats of different kinds conduct fishing along the India - Sri Lanka maritime border. '!er since !iolence broke out in Sri Lanka t(o decades ago% fishing acti!it has not been )eaceful. Tamil Nadu fishermen are arrested% or shot% b the Sri Lankan Na! . In this )roblem (ill be sol!ed b using An Intelligent *oundar Alert S stem +I*AS,.An I*AS s stem induces the ne( methodolog for sa!ing the fishermen !aluable life and their )ro)erties from the Sri Lankans na! . The main ob-ecti!e of this s stem is used to hel) the fishermen to na!igate inside our maritime countr border.
