“HISTORY ALWAYS REPEATS ITSELF”

“History always repeats itself” seams just a simple sentence but

this is full of harsh realties. Such realities which had affected the
humanity badly and changed the whole world politics. In past, we
know about revolutions which were certainly occurred in the result
of the severe reaction of one man rule or tyranny of a group of few
people.

In 18th centaury, the most popular French revolution occurred

which almost changed the whole world’s political system in a
sense that this was reaction of monarchism. It not only challenged
the nobility and clergy classes of French but also affected
international monarch system. At that time, there were empires like
0ttoman, Russia, Austria Hangary , United Kingdom dominating
the entire political world. In Europe, France was considered most
important power being center of Europe. When revolution came in
1789, peasants challenged the nobility and clergy class. On the
other hand, the France was under the dictatorship of Napoleon
Bona Part which came in power on the name of popular democracy
and the savior of fundamental rights of common people. He also
started to increase his power and to implement his ideas across the
borders of France. It was also considered a challenged for
international monarch system because in all empires specifically in
Europe, the interests of all monarchs were common. They were not
ready to surrender their divine right of rule. So a holy alliance was
made against French expansionists. They succeeded to crush them
and maintained balance of power in region.

Here the Issue to resolve was to overcome liberal values and

democratic system which was ultimately against the monarchism
that is implemented in almost all empires and powerful countries
of world
Then history repeats itself again in 19th centaury, when two Major
revolutions occurred like China revolution and Iranian revolution.
Again these revolutions were also against one man rule and
tyranny. But in these revolutions we see the role of international
community and super powers quite negatively. It must be noted
that these revolutions came in Asia not in Europe and in these
international players favored dictators and monarch ‘s rule in these
countries. Here the Issue to resolve was to overcome Communism
and Islamic fundamentalism.

Furthermore, history repeats itself again in 20th centaury, when

revolution came in Afghanistan. In which Taliban came in power
in Afghanistan with their extremist ideology same like the French
revolutionists have their own Liberal ideology which was also an
extreme one itself. But what happened on this time, International
players once again reacted towards this revolution quiet negatively
once again. They destroyed Afghanistan and war and anarchy in
this country is still going on. Here the Issue to resolve was to
overcome Islamic extremism.

If above mentioned historical facts are analyzed without any

biasness then it revealed a true but bitter reality that in past,
International powers always reacted towards all international
problems according to their own benefits whenever they wanted to
secured their interests they compromise, negotiate, even neglected
the issue but where they felt threat their own interests and benefits,
they set aside all rules, regulations values and left no stone
unturned to secure their interests
International players reacted to resolve this issue quite positively in
a sense that after crushing the expansionists in France they did
peace settlement through Congress of Vienna. Neither they
occupied on the territory of France nor did they break diplomatic
relations with the country. On the contrary, this was not happen in
case of Chinese, Iranian and Afghani revolutions. May be one
reason of such reaction was that first revolution hit the Europe
directly and rest were occurred in Asia region and Europe was not
directly effect.
Food for thought is that developed European countries are not
serious to resolve the problems of under developed Asia region on
the other hand they always flamed the fire in region. They have
strong hold on all international political, trade, financial
Organizations and institutions like UNO, WTO, IMF, WORLD
BANK. They are using Asia and other under developed regions as
market of their expensive exports goods and importing
comparatively cheap goods from there. How they can be seriously
interested to resolve the burning issues of this region which most
of them were created by European colonists.
Now these issues have given birth to a syndrome called
“international terrorism”. Which have struck the whole world
badly equally affected all regions either developed or under
developed. It has appeared as HIV Aids with no remedy except
prevention. Prevention of dual standers, prevention of selfishness
to secure own benefits and interests. It is better for international
players, powerful and well developed Western countries to take
preventive measures before another brutal international revolution
would be occur in present centaury and history once again repeat
itself.
