Install the web server application in a computer server with a public IP. Attach the adapter to the device Insert Battery in the slot backside of the device Insert SIM card with GPRS activated (for GPRS devices) for transferring of data to the server

USR MNG REGISTER THE USER 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10. 11. 12. Press MENU button to enter into the menu options Select USER MNG to register the user and press OK Select NEW USER to register a new user and press OK Input ID.No. of the user Select FP to register the fingerprint of the user and press OK Place the finger in the slot three times to register the user and press OK Press ESC to return to the main menu or continue to register another finger for the same user Scroll down to the OK option and press OK Select OK to save the registration Continue registering the users or press ESC to return to the USER menu Press ESC to return to the MAIN menu Press ESC to completely return to the Main screen

Select the USER to DELETE or EDIT from the list of users Then Press MENU to view the list of options. Scroll down to use the desired operation Select Search user to search the user record and press OK Select Record to view the attendance logs data and press OK Select Edit to edit the enrolled user parameters and press OK Select Del User to delete the user from the machine and press OK Select New User to add or register a New User and press OK Press ESC to return to the MAIN menu Press ESC to completely return to the Main screen

Select Comm. and press OK to enter into the communication setup Select Network to input LAN IP of your environment Select RS 232 / 485 for connecting the device to the system with the desired option Select Security to put the device ID and password Select Dial Setup for setting the GPRS protocols Select Web Setup for setting the Web server details

Select SYSTEM and press OK for viewing system settings Select Data Mng for Data Managing options such as Delete Select Update to update the firmware Select Keyboard for Key options and their usages Select Display for display settings of the device Select Reset Option to reset the device completely to the company options Select Misc Settings to set the Sleep time and other options of the device

DATE / TIME 1. Select Date/Time option for setting the dates

PENDRIVE 1. Select PENDRIVE option to upload and download the data from / to the pen drive

AUTO TEST 1. Select Auto Test option to test the device for any defaults

RECORD 1. Select Record option to set the device to accept the particular user ID to accept the attendance for the given time period only. SYS INFO 1. Select Sys Info to view the Records and Device information completely

B. CHECK THE GPRS SETTINGS IN THE DEVICE 1. PRESS MENU BUTTON ON THE DEVICE 2. SELECT COMM OPTION ON THE DEVICE & PRESS OK 3. SELECT DIAL SET UP ON THE DEVICE & PRESS OK 4. CHECK THE FOLLOWING DETAILS ON THE SCREEN LEFT SIDE OF THE SCREEN MODEM TYPE = GPRS FREQUENCY = 900 / 1800 APN NAME = internet for IDEA, airtelgprs.com for AIRTEL wapsouth.cellone.in for BSNL sim cards USER NAME = Link Pwd = ACCESS NUM. = *99***1# Redial Inter = 2 Redial Times = 4 RIGHT SIDE ON THE SCREEN WHETHER USE = Y ATTACH GPRS DETACH GPRS RESTART GPRS RESET FLOW GPRS INFO OK BACK (ESC)

GPRS ENABLED IN THE DEVICE GPRS ACTIVATED IN THE SIM CARD AND RECHARGED DATA WILL BE SYNCHRONISED WITH THE SERVER

If the above settings are not found on the screen, please configure the device with the GPRS CONFIG TOOL (a software) provided to you (Main Partner) or you can call us for the same or you can SMS for the same with your mail id.

TO CONFIGURE THE DEVICE:

1. Install the application in the computer / laptop 2. Connect the system with a TCP / IP cable 3. Set the computer / laptop IP Address as 192.168.1.234 4. Set the Device NETWORK IP as 192.168.1.201 as follows : A. B. C. D. PRESS MENU BUTTON ON THE DEVICE SELECT COMM OPTION ON THE DEVICE & PRESS OK SELECT NETWORK OPTION & PRESS OK VERIFY THAT THE IP ADDRESS IS 192.168.1.201 VERIFY THAT THE SUBNET MASK IS 255.255.255.0 VERIFY THAT THE GATEWAY IS 0.0.0.0 NETSPEED IS AUTO AND SELECT OK TO SAVE AND EXIT

5. Enable Proxy Server - OFF 6. ELSE ENTER THE ABOVE IP ADDRESS & SELECT OK TO SAVE / EXIT
