when I was in first year,l would quiver whenever I overhear the bellring. I would hur riedly sit at the l6t row ofchai6 in our classroom and hide behind my not only thick but heavy books to get away llom the teriting gaze of our brilliant professors and lech'rers. Atty. serad in criminal law w6 our first subject of the day. He would hastily enter our room while caryins his black bas and start callins the roll of cl6s cards. lte atmcphere then was unexplainable. I could almost hear every thought and silent prayer of my cl6smat6 begging God to make a miracle for them not to be called. And, in his cla$, believe me, never 6sume you will not be called.l stillremember he would always callour one very enthusiastic cl6mate,and every time he would do so,thatguy would not stand up tillat least after 15 seconds rearing a very terified look. When Sir Serad would start flooding his questions, that guy would just stare at him widr big scared eyes if pleading for Sir Serad to grant him amnesty and let him sit because he had been standing up for almostan hour just muttering 'yes' or 'no' but could notseem to say a word when asked'why?'. But the bitterGt part offinishing allthe days ofbeing a lleshie is the taste of havins a bis 5 marked on your class card when you finally sot in hand the result of your bloody experience during fitst yeat. Working students may rehte on this. I applied for any job to support myself in studiG after the humiliation that big 5 brought. It was noteasy. Thb time I got to experience the sid6 ofbeing the lech'rer of the students too. I taught them not only academics but also described to them the pleasanls and unpleasants of life and where our dreams can take us if we really want somethinq so bad. Conse quently, other i$ues, sore necGsrily re lated and others cl@rly out of the main topic, leaped in the c6e betw@n the LSG and the Law Gazette. Both partiG have their own convictions and beliefs which they fisht for, and we shall lay them down for you to

Ihis b 6ide ftom the fat that it b of the com mon knowledge of the sh'denls that a copy of the gazette i$ue will be given to each of them

Regarding the LSG'S econd contention, the Law Gazette believes that unless financial statemenls of the LSG'S operations are shMn, the same is not ac@ptable as a re6on for it to deprive the Le Gaette of what it contends is its right. To bolster this, the Law Garette re peatedly cit6 6 an example the previous ad minisbations whth had the same argument (and which were even experiencins internal problems widr respect to their beasureE) but were still able to allocate budget for the gazette at the end of those academic yea6. Again, with rGpect to the Open Letter ps se, some portion of the majority of the sh'dents believed it w6 not ne$ary to the point that they even thought it was an attack to the Presi

Some may have found it offensive to some peEonalities but 6 observed, nothing was contained in the letter attacking them. Its contents are legitimate concerns of the students that need to be addressed. lte Open Letter only stated what are facls and nothing was there as a hear say.
