Port Said RV Position (Port Said anchorage area) Masters are requested to contact Port Said Port Control on VHF Ch. 12/16 fifteen miles prior to arrival at Port Said limit line South of Lat. 31 28.7N in order to receive guidelines for a suitable anchor position. Motor Launch Our motor launch will attend the vessel at the anchor position given by SCA /Port Said Port Control. Leth Egypt Agencies representative will be in contact with the vessel by VHF for proper confirmation of the approach/arrival of the motor launch ( in case required by the security party) otherwise while the vessel entering Suez Canal Arrival Procedure (Not later than 72 hrs prior vessel arrival) 1) Company procedures following to be arranged: An Authorization Letter is requested as an appointment of our agency to handle the weapons/ammunition in line with the concerned parties requirements. A Declaration of weapons and ammunition existing on-board to be send to us as E-mail attachment (please see attached). Vessel contact details including phone no., fax no., e-mail, etc to be forwarded to us.

2) Vessels procedures information to be passed to us. Master has to send voyage details i.e. vsls cargo, last port, destination, arrival draft and full details of the vessels transit agent including contact persons A.O.H. Vessels transit agent should receive an e-mail or telex from master confirming that weapons and ammunition onboard, and state that Leth Egypt Agencies will attend to make the relevant arrangements as well as coordination with the concerned parties regarding this issue. 3) If vessel arrive Port Said with weapon on board it will be collecting while vessel entering the Canal ,transported by road under police and military custody and will be redelivered at Suez after vessel completed Suez Canal transit

Embarkation arrangements at Suez:

Immigration formalities/paper work for team embarkation including team/vessel details as well as date of embarkation. (During the day of embarkation) Weapons/equipments storage charges to be paid before team arrival to Suez port. Port police arrangements of weapons/equipments formalities order to be released with team for timely embarkation subject to vessel schedule (weapons release under team leader supervision), equipments to be released as well from Suez customs area and to be checked thereafter by team leader.

Leth Egypt duty officer meeting team on arrival Suez port main gate coordinating with customs, etc. for embarkation formalities to enter Suez Port. Immigration final step to get departure stamp. Team to receive safety life-jackets from Leth Egypt Agencies representative upon being on-board Leth Egypt motor boat. Suez Port police officers attend the team embarkation/weapons embarkation. Team, sets of weapons/equipments, Leth Egypt representative as well as port police duty officer after above having the boat moving ahead to vessel to meet her at the RV point boarding her while exiting the Canal at RV position KM 162 (More or Less).

Disembarkation arrangements at Suez: Immigration formalities/paper work for team disembarkation including team/vessel details as well as date of disembarkation. (During the day of embarkation) Port police arrangements of weapons/equipments formalities order to be stored ,equipments to be stored as well from Suez customs area with attendance of team leader. Upon vessel drop anchor at Suez anchorage area LEA motorboat alongside the vessel to collect weapon and team. Port police officer has to attend weapon landing. After immigration ,storing completed team will be transporting to Cairo.
