activities, most of them based on working with kids. Two of them took place at a kindergarten and at Intercampus Slatina. At this moment I am coordinating the Edinburgh University omanian Society mentorship programme! program designed to help young high school students get more information about university applications, and I am also part of the society"s committee. I saw a large range of emotions, from the sadness of losing a game on the football court to the happiness of children who see for the first time a fun park. I remember how impressed I was to see the #ational $useum of Scotland for the first time and I want to live again that emotion by presenting the museum to others. To give you a of what science means to me, this week my team and I are building a robot for an innovative learning week event. The ama%ing part is that we will even use a &!' printer, and although none of us has done something similar before, we are confident we will succeed and build a fully functional robot. (ast but not least, my volunteering at Intercampus gave me the opportunity to develop solid organi%ation skills as well as strong communication abilities. )robably the most challenging event that I organi%ed there was Intercampu"s $illions of Smiles Tournament because it took part during the same period as my final e*ams + omanian ,accalaureate- and I had to significantly use my time management skills. The volunteering team and I decided that everybody should run an activity, so I had to design it, find the materials needed and also advertise it to the children in order to make them .oin the game. At the same time we had to ensure kids/ safety by watching them playing safe and mediating any divergences between them. $oreover, we also worked as a team by dividing the other duties, such as providing water to the football players, making sandwiches for them or painting the football field. In addition I also interacted directly with both kids and their parents, and conse0uently I am comfortable working with a variety of people in diverse environments.
