Ms. Andrea Macaluso possesses more than 20 years of experience and her professional goal has always been to: Provide measurable and effective training programs Serve all sectors of the industry Use all the available training media available The breadth of Andreas experience demonstrates that she accomplishes those goals. She applies the Instructional Systems Design Model (aka. the ADDIE Model) by analyzing student needs then designing and developing a training program to meet those needs. Next she evaluates program effectiveness with various methods: observing the training, surveying or interviewing students, and/or following up with the students managers. Her training programs span all sectors of the training community: Federal agencies as well as commercial, academic, and not-for-profit organizations. Andreas training projects employed every type of media available to instructional designers, including virtual classroom projects, eLearning and mLearning projects, computer-based training projects, classroom training materials, and technical writing/performance support products.

Professional Experience
American Systems Corporation in partnership with Alex, Inc. Senior Instructional Designer / Line Manager 10/2013 3/2014 Course Goals: to teach Federal Investigators, Federal Investigative Managers, Information Systems Branch Administrators, and Super Users at the Office of Personnel Managements Federal Investigative Services how to use their newly-deployed EPIC enterprise-wide software system to complete background investigations for all Federal employees and contractors.

Deliverables: Task Analyses, Design Documents, Complete Reference Guides, Quick Reference Cards, and FAQs
for each training course. Curriculum Designer 12/2011 10/2013 Course Goal: to provide contract officer representatives with the knowledge and skills needed to successfully plan and manage government contracts for the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Deliverables: Virtual classroom courses, consisting of animated gaming strategies, in real-time, instructor-led,
distance delivery classes using Adobe Connect. Design Document, Instructor/Facilitator Guide, Participant Guide, Adobe Connect virtual classroom content, and Adobe Connect job aids for instructors. Course delivered in the US and partner nations.

Instructional Strategy: to provide case studies and realistic scenarios that built throughout the course, conceptual
