Program Coordinator Little Explorers Reggio Emilia Pre-School info@littleexplorers.ca Job Number: 6816016 Dear Mr. / Ms. Program Coordinator, I would like to apply for the Early Childhood Educator (NOC: 4214) full time permanent position which was advertised on the Ontario government website for Job Bank. As a registered Early Childhood Educator, I have worked with various age groups from infants to preschool children from lab school to regular core classes to a specialized placement during my field placements and through volunteered experiences. From personal experiences from growing up with a disability to being integrated into regular academic based classes, I have learned and developed skills and techniques to enhance learning strategies by using the emergent approach which supports all learning styles. With hard work, perseverance and resourcefulness, I was able to graduate with Honours in the Early Childhood Education program and I earned a Scholarship for Disabilities at the same time. I believe that each child has the potential to learn with the right tools and support. What attracted me to this advertisement was the fact in your title of your program states your philosophy, the Reggio Emilia approach and the concept of how children can be little explorers right in their own preschool. It sounds like a wonderful place to work by encouraging children to be themselves by exploring their cues and interests through play and learn. I feel that I could be the right fit for this position. I am willing to relocate if given the position. With my enthusiasm, energy, positive deposition and as a team player, I feel that I could be an asset to Little Explorers Reggio Emilia Pre-School. I hope that by given this opportunity, we can grow together as a staff. Thank you for considering me for the position of Early Childhood Educator. I can be reach at the above email address or by phone at your earliest convenience. I look forward to hearing from you. Sincerely Yours,

Sarah Pike Registered Early Childhood Educator
