Program Outlines
Students enrolled in the undergraduate program will have to complete 126 credit hours (42 courses) to qualify for an undergraduate degree in Business Administration: General Education Requirements 11 Course (33 credit hours) Core Requirements 16 Courses (48 credit hours) Specialization Requirements 10 Courses (30 credit hours) Free Elective Requirements 5 Courses (15 credit hours)
In each undergraduate program, general education, core courses and free electives are common for all specializations.

UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAM
BUSINESS MANAGEMENT
The program is designed to offer a wide range of career choices. Business Management provides the scope for you to immediately start a career after graduation as a sole practitioner or staff manager. Upon gaining proper experiences, you can move on to supervise other managers with an aspiration to become partners. The most important position to which you would aspire is that of a general manager (GM). COBA provides you the tools and advice to develop the right career that would lead to positions in management, healthcare, banking, computer technology and strategic management.
Course Structure
In the first year of the program, students study basic disciplines in management, accounting, marketing, and general studies. In the second year, in addition to general education, the Core requirements provide further education on management skills and their principles including the legal aspects. The third and fourth years allow the students to choose 300 and 400 level courses including specialization requirements. Acquire requisite knowledge and apply ethical understanding and perspectives to business environments Use critical thinking skills in business situations and apply them in work conditions Develop effective written and oral communications skills Analyze the local and global business environment prudently

ACCOUNTING
Accounting is the most sought after area of interest for many business graduates. Dubai being a world class leading financial hub, the relevance to study Finance and practice is more than compelling! Business Administration in Finance AUE seeks to advance knowledge of finance through across-the-board teaching. This is achieved by drawing interactive and video conferencing sessions through a mixed group of faculties including ones from other continents. The range of course work, research at individual level, extensive problem solving exercises drawn as product of case studies make the students more confident and sets the pace for learning in a modern way. Young finance practitioners; our students - are made responsible for learning more about raising capital, investment, deregulation and retirement of funds, insurance and risk management, real estate sectors, vis-vis allocation of resources at personal, institutional, corporate, and global levels.
