Converted a mature chain of stores experiencing declining sales, service and profits to within twelve months sales and profits increased by 7 percent with record breaking customer service results. 2000 2012
P&L responsibility for $625 million area comprised of 3,100 employees operating 105 retail/office superstores across 5 states. Led a cross functional team of Managers, Human Resources, Loss Prevention, and Operations in support of company goals. Converted a mature market experiencing negative comp sales of 2 percent with declining profits, poor customer service and operational standards. Within twelve months sales increased by 2 percent, profits increased 4 percent and increased customer service performance to company standard. Recovered in excess of $5 million in shrink through disciplined operational process.
