Shirley and Ron Ayers, with other mission aries, assist the Christian Education Foundation
of Liberia (CEFL), in serving churches established by the Bassa people of Liberia. Agriculture,
health, and church leadership development pro
grams send CEFL staff into rural communities. A Christian high school brings students from out lying communities together for classroom in struction. Bible translation provides God's word in the Bassa language and literacy programs yield
essential study and communication skills.

farms and have found their rural traditions assets
in their ministries in rural, tropical. West Africa. Shirley graduated from Lincoln Christian College
in 1976 with majors in Christian Education and World Missions. She also has a diploma in book
keeping and two years experience as a bookkeeper. Ron taught in Liberia from 1970 through 1973, after graduating from the University of Illinois, College of Agriculture. When he returned to the
States he attended Lincoln Christian Seminary
The Ayers hope to recruit additional workers for serving God in Liberia and to enlist additional financial and prayer support for their family
