The badges worn by the forces of our Allies are also represented. The compilation of the booklet has entailed close consullation with many official authorities, including regimental headquarters, Dominion Offices and Messrs. J. R. Gaunt & Son, Limited, to all of whom our grateful thanks are due, In spite of the help generously given by the authorities mentioned above many difficulties have been encountered during preparation, partly due to the exigencies of the War and the difficulty of not being always able to gel into touch with some regiments. The publishers cannot be sure therefore that the booklet is entirely free from mistakes, though they have spared no effort in their desire to make it as accurate as possible.
