INFANT MORTALITY RATE (IMR)

Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) per 1000 District Wise

In Ananthapur district, IMR has improved significantly from 44 per 1000 (2007) to 13 per 1000 (2010). 1. IMR is increased in East Godavari and Visakhapatnam districts from 2007 to 2010. 2. In Medak and Nalgonda districts, infant mortality rate per 1000 has gown up drastically in 2010 compared to 2007.

Nutrition status in grade-2

Nutrition Status - District Wise % of Boys in Grade - 2

Districts where more than 20% of the boys are in Grade-2. In 2010, Krishna is the only district where Grade-2 boys are below 10%.

In Guntur and Visakhapatnam districts, the % of boys in all the age groups and in Rangareddy the % of infants is increased in Grade-2 from 2007 to 2010.

All over the state, % of boys in Grade-2 has gown down from 2007 (19%) to 2010 (17%).

Nutrition Status - District Wise % of Girls in Grade - 2

Districts where more than 20% of the girls in Grade-2 are to be focused. Krishna is the only district in 2010, where Grade-2 girls are below 10%.

In Visakhapatnam district, the % of girls in all the age groups and in Nizamabad the % of infants is increased in Grade-2 from 2007 to 2010.

All over the state, % of girls in Grade-2 is improved to17.4% (2010) against 19.4% (2007).

IMMUNIZATION status

In Ananthapur district, % of Immunization is improved from 79 (2007) to 82 (2010). The % of immunization has gown up drastically in Nellore i.e, from 33% in 2007 to 65% in 2010. In Mahbubnagar, Adilabad, Krishna, East and West Godavari districts, immunization percentage is declined by about 5 to 18 % in 2010 compared to 2007.
