Competition Details Date: 11 March 2014 (Tuesday) Time: 9:00am 13:00pm (be seated at 8:45am) * Late comers will not be allowed to participate in the contest. Venue: Room 105, Lecture Theatre,The Hong Kong Academy for Gifted Education, Sha Kok Estate, Shatin, N.T., Hong Kong * All contestants must wear school uniform and bring along your Hong Kong Identity Card AND School Student Card.

Rules and Regulations All contestants should read the following Rules and Regulations carefully before they attend the contest: 1. Contestants must wear school uniform, and bring along Hong Kong Identity Card AND School Student Card. Those who fail to comply may risk disqualification. 2. Using of calculators is prohibited. 3. No stationeries will be provided. Please bring along pens, HB pencils, protractors, compasses, etc. 4. Those who arrive at the designated venue after the starting time of the Contest will be disqualified and not be allowed to enter the venue. 5. Contestants are not allowed to leave early. 6. The contest questions are to be kept confidential until the Organizing Country posts them on the APMO website. Contestants shall not disclose the questions in any way to or discuss them with any third parties; otherwise, the contestant will be disqualified. 7. You may find past papers and solutions on the APMO website (http://www.daryn.kz/apmo).

Inclement Weather Arrangement And Control Measures For Communicable Diseases For inclement weather arrangement and control measures for communicable diseases, please refer to our website (http://ge.hkage.org.hk/en/students/important-information/bad-weather). Any rescheduled arrangement will also be announced on the HKAGE website. Please check for update.

Precautionary Measures against Communicable Diseases Candidates must check their body temperature before the contest. Candidates with fever or influenza-like illness (I.L.I.) symptoms are strongly advised to visit a doctor as soon as possible. They should not attend the contest. If candidates have been quarantined, they should inform the HKAGE via the Department of Health. At the end of the contest, candidates will be asked to follow the instructions of the venue supervisor and leave the venue row by row to prevent crowding the venue exits. You are highly recommended to read the HKAGEs guidance towards communicable diseases and take necessary actions.

Precautionary Measures against Influenza at Contest Venue Candidates will be allowed to put on masks at the contest venue. Invigilators may ask these candidates to remove their masks during attendance checking when necessary. Candidates with sneezing or coughing should put on a mask. Candidates with serious sneezing or coughing may be arranged to sit at the back of the venue in order to minimize disturbance to other candidates.

Results Announcement and Prize-giving Ceremony Results of the Contest and arrangements of Prize-giving Ceremony will be released on the HKAGE website http://ge.hkage.org.hk in early June 2014.
