Instructions for Writing Teaching Schedule

The teaching schedule is the basic arrangement of the teachers teaching progress, and also furnishes the basis for checking and evaluating teachers teaching activities and quality. Therefore the teacher is supposed to design the teaching progress seriously and analyzing the syllabuses, textbooks and the present learning status of the students, and meanwhile write the schedule carefully as per the unified format and requirements according to the semester teaching commitments which give the total and weekly class hours of the course. The requirements for completing this teaching schedule described as following:

&ill out and carry out the schedule seriously. $t must be examined and approved by the group leader and the director before being put into practice.

!ll content must be filled in %nglish, and all numbers in digits. +ake the schedule in duplicate. !fter approving, one copy is kept by the teacher and the other is submitted to the educational administration for filing.

-etails for the cover page: a. &illing the term of the academic year and the semester order of this year in which this course is going to be conducted. b. &illing the sub/ect title, such as mathematicsphysics, etc. c. &or 01rade: fill out the grades of the students attending this course.

d. &or 0#lass: fill out the order of classes that the teacher is going to teach in this semester. e. &or 0#ourse name: fill out the full name of the course, and make sure it is consistent with that in the specification. f. &or 0#ourse teacher: the name of the teacher who conducts this teaching.

g. &or 0Textbook: fill out the full titles, version numbers and the publishers of all the textbooks, including the revision books, teacher guidance books and so on, used in this sub/ect teaching for this semester. h. &or 02osition: the appointed position3s. of the person3s. who is going to teach this course, such as teacher, assistant teacher or tutor.

The total classes of a semester may consist of theory course, revision classes, tests, exams, and laboratory course if applicable.

-etails of filling out the schedule a. The schedule should be filled out by the teacher who takes this course in the semester. $f the teaching is conducted by several teachers, chapters taken by different teachers have to be indicated in the column of 0remarks. b. -o not change the format of the table. 6evertheless the height and the width of lines, or lines and words spacing could be ad/usted. !ll the content should be filled in ( Times 6ew 7ome 3titles in bold. to make sure the format artistic and presentation tidy in whole. 2rint it on !* paper after completion. c. 08eeks: fill out the order of weeks for teaching sections according to the school calendar. d. Teaching content: according to the sub/ect specification and the current situations of the students, arrange the content of each teaching section and allocate the class hours to the sections reasonably. &ill content of teaching sections by the title and the order of chapters and sections one by one, and do not put the contents of several weeks together. &ill out teaching content in the lecture order. e. 0#lass 9essons: required number of periods for each teaching section, including the theories and experiments, tests or exams, revision classes, etc. f. Teaching model and aids: the methods and the class organization styles used in your teaching. $t may include lecture, experiment, problem sets, discussion, visiting, and some educational aids, such as multimedia"aided teaching, etc. g. :omework and tutoring: -esign the homework'assignment that requires student to complete and return to the teacher for marking carefully and indicate them with text pages, practice numbers, topic numbers, or question quantity, etc.
