SYSTEM FINANCIAL SOURCE TO DESTINATION

ABSTRACT
Vidya Poshak, India, is a registered Non Government Organization ( NGO) , serving education community. The organization was started by a group of compassionate people with the aim of supporting financially challenged bright students. This is application developed for student who is not able to go higher studies. Though Vidya Poshak started with the aim of supporting the students financially, many other programs evolved during the journey. Some of the major projects are Nurture Merit, Graduate Finishing School, Centre for Development of Soft Skills and School Leadership Development Program . Nurture Merit Program: This program includes Financial Assistance, Library/Book Bank facilities and Residential Bridge Camp. The mission is to provide financial assistance to meritorious students who cannot afford to continue their higher education owing to their financial difficulties. 1. Financial Assistance: Financial assistance to continue education post 10th grade, which will cover college fees, exam fees and transportation. Along with this additional amount for coaching is given. In some extreme situations additional assistance is extended to cover accommodation and boarding. The identification of students is done by physical visits to students dwelling units to assess the need to ensure only deserving applicant received the assistance. More than 700 volunteers spread across the state identify the deserving students. This is a unique feature of Vidya Poshak. The organization has so far disbursed more than INR 100 million towards financial assistance. More than 12000 students have been assisted in over 19 districts of Karnataka and five districts of Maharashtra. The progress of each student is closely monitored throughout the support period. Resources for all these

programs are generated through individual donors and private organizations who share the social concern. 2 Books & Library Services: Free Text books are lent to all the students through libraries

and book bank centers. Student will get academic text books on their demand to read for 1-year and then the same books are put in circulation. One Central Library, 5 branchesand 62 rural Book Bank centers are catering to the students. So far more than 77,000 books have been given to 20,000 students under this program. .

Residential Bridge Camps (RBC): The RBCs aim at bringing positive change in the

Personality,Career and Skills of the students in 9 days of residential camps. Arranging various skill and need based training for the students gives the students an exposure and also builds confidence in them. It is an effort to bridge the gap between the student and her/his dream. It augments the needs of students which they rarely get in their formal schooling. Under this program more than 3800 students have been trained through 82 camps.

INTRODUCTION
Financial and academic support to meritorious students who are unable to continue their higher education due to economic difficulties Post Finance support to students for achieving academic excellence, generate greater employability & to enhance youth involvement for creating better society. Associating with teaching community to enhance the quality of

education Motivate people participation at large to contribute for development of education After 10th standard the student who have scored above 60% and who are economically poor are eligible to apply for the Vidyaposhak Scholarship. Vidyaposhak select the students through written test and by visiting their homes. Some donors may simply donate the funds to vidyaposhak. That fund may be distributed to any vidyaposhak student. Some donors may specify certain conditions on their funds like the amount should be given for PUC students or students who scored above 85% etc.

The donors for a student may change from one year to other. The funds donated will be distributed to different district students and finally all the funds are added to get the total amount given by a particular donor. Each district branch of vidyaposhak will maintain their own database and the whole database is maintained at the main branch (central database), which is in Dharwad. If any updating is done in done in district database, they will inform it to the central database. The general report is prepared only once when the students join the vidyaposhak and it will be maintained throughout their education. The academic report will be updated year by year. This report contain the following fields like the course, percentage of last year, donor of the present year, amount given in present year etc.To conduct camps and workshops the amount will be

given by separate donors. Some percentage of a mounts in the funds will be used for the office maintenance and staff maintenance.

PRESENT WORK SYSTEM

Vidyaposhak is one of the public organizations which help the poor students for studies.They maintain the information about all the students in the ledger and standalone system. Searching of students and checking of the amount given to a student whenever it required. It will be time consuming and keeping a history of each and every student is difficult.

DRAWBACKS OF PRESENT WORK SYSTEM

1 The present system in not automated. 2 There is no proper database maintenance 3 The overall admin are not maintained all work. 4 In exsisting system maintainence of all ledger was not that easy. 5 Student cant apply for scholarship through online. 6 Student cant check there eligibility through online 7 Every donor didnt have individual ID. 8 Student has to fill separate application form for scholarship form 9 Some time student can select for more than one school, so it will be problem 10 It will take more time to take scholarship a. Means manually student has to visit each school and take application form , fill and submit to school. b. After this student has to visit each college and check whether he has selected or not. It will take more time.

11 As the data/information is stored into the file system it can be easily lost or edited by nonauthorized personals. 12 All the data are stored in the file system so its very difficult to find the required record of the particular school.

PROPOSED SYSTEM:
In the proposed system the website contains high security maintenance including we are making the system itself online. All the information should be entered uniquely and this information can be accessed online 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 Automation is made online. The overall work will be divided ceo and branches. In proposed system maintenance of all information is easy . This information can be accessed online Student can apply for scholarship through online. Student can check there eligibility through online. In this system Every donor have individual ID.

Conclusion :

Agritrade software is very useful product for Adath owners in managing and maintaining the records of their transactions with the farmers and their customers. They dont have to depend on others for storing the details of theirs transactions. Entering the details manually will consume lot of time and will be tedious.

Agritrade software will fasten the process there by reducing the human errors.

The software is very user friendly. All the help files and instructions are provided with the package. The user need not have worry about the records as that will be stored in the database. The Agritrade software makes it easy for the user to find any details by using the facilitates provided in the software
