See You At The Pole 2013

Overview
This document aims to briefly cover the vital points of interest regarding SYATP Singapore 2013, 22-28 September this year. These include general guidelines for the event, technical matters, prayer pointers, suggestions for the activities, and other things.

A Brief Preparation Checklist

SYATP, being an event held within the school compounds, has to follow several important guidelines so the event can run smoothly. These include: Confirming a suitable location at any given time which can be suitable for the event, or multiple locations for multiple simultaneous events. Confirming that it is indeed possible to hold SYATP without any strong objection or controversy. You might even consider holding the prayer event somewhere else as the flagpole, a prominent place, can draw attention. Referring to the below list of suggested activities, and the prayer pointers, draw up relevant logistics list to be brought to school that day.

Purpose of the Event

Encourage renewed interest in the spiritual welfare of the nation and the school, and of pre-believers around us. Remind us that the body of Christ exists around us, and to appreciate this fact. Exposure to group prayer for the nation and the school Getting to know fellow Christians better

Write it out in big block letters so that it can be read on the run. This vision-message is a witness pointing to what's coming. It aches for the coming-it can hardly wait! And it doesnt lie. If it seems slow in coming, wait. (Habakkuk 2:2 The Message)

Divine Institution & Religion

Kingdom Unity: Declare that the Church will be a model of love and unity to our city. Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are My disciples (John 13:35). They will love the Lord and honour their parents. They will be an example to all their peers in the way they live, in their love, their faith, and their purity (1 Timothy 4:12)

Government & Leadership Righteous Governance: Declare that the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord will permeate Parliament as they discuss, debate and decide on bills and policies. Divine Agenda: Declare that the heart of government is like a stream of water directed by the Lord; He guides it wherever He pleases. (Proverbs 21:1)

Greeks} 14 For the body is not one member, but many. Pray for Revival: Psalms 85 6 Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?

Isaiah 57 15 For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones. Habakkuk 3 2 O LORD, I have heard thy speech, and was afraid: O LORD, revive thy work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make known; in wrath remember mercy. Pray for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit: Habakkuk 3 2 O LORD, I have heard thy speech, and was afraid: O LORD, revive thy work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make known; in wrath remember mercy. Ephesians 4 30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption Psalms 51 11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.
