(1) The MM14 "Drama of the Ages Countdown" & MM 14 Impacting Lives for Christ series

We continue to invite your presence, prayers and support for the final MM14 Evangelistic campaign, "The Drama of the Ages Countdown" which is currently underway at the Pembroke Hall Community Centre with Evangelist Pastor Kevin White. The MM 14 Impacting Lives for Christ Campaign with Pastor Clive Dottin ended last weekend. To God be the glory 218 persons were baptized.
(2) Notices from the Health Ministries Department

1. Massage Therapy Training sessions begin on April 22, 2014 at the V.H. Percy Centre at 5:00pm - 7:00 pm. 2. The Ministerial Department in collaboration with the Health Ministries Department of East Jamaica will conduct a Medical Missionary Training for Pastors An Introduction to Health Evangelism. The Programme will be conducted every Thursday in May at the EJC Boardroom.

3. 5K Run/Walk and Childrens Fun Day June 1, 2014.

1. Education Week is to be held May 5-10 and Education Day on May 10, 2014.
The greatest want of the world is the want of men-men who will not be bought or sold, men who in their inmost souls are true and honest, men who do not fear to call sin by its right name, men whose conscience is as true to duty as the needle to the pole, men who will stand for the right though the heavens fall. (4) Funeral Notices

1. The funeral service for Bro. Noel Nigel Brown will be held on Sunday, April 27, 2014 at 10 a.m at the Hagley Park SDA Church. However on Sabbath, April 26, there will be a memorial service at that church beginning at 3 p.m. Interment will be at the Dovecot Memorial Gardens. 2. The funeral service for Celeste Johnson will be held May 4 at the Glendevon SDA church in St. James at 11:00 a.m. Sis. Johnson is the mother of Pastor Paul Bailey who is the Pastor of the Kings and Johnson Town SDA Churches.
(5) Notices from the Childrens Ministries Department

1. Missionaries to Belize please note that your air fare becomes due on or before April 25, 2014. Kindly call the office for further details. This group package rate is less than the projected amount. Hurry! We contracted only 36 seats. Credit cards are accepted. 2. Hats off to Sis. Gean Burris of Content Gap for turning in first quarters report on time. (See report under the Childrens Ministries Department online) 3. There will be NO childrens choir rehearsal for the next 2 weeks because of the holiday activity weekend and the GEMS Anniversary (April 26). Choir practice resumes on May 4. 4. Our Department invites all CMDs to participate in the fund raising Lap-a-thon that will held on Friday, May 23, 2014. Proceeds will be in aid of ASI/IAD Belize Mission 2000 & Beyond, Walkers Childrens Home & Child Month activities. All Childrens Ministries team members, kindly collect the lap-a-thon sheets from the office, Winsome Martin or your zone presidents. 5. Childrens Forum: Kindly send us the name and profile of one child by Monday April 21, to be a member of the Childrens forum to be held in May. Basic criteria children who will talk on issues. There will be a briefing session before the event. Thumbs up to Sis. Jean Johnson of Seaview for her quick response. 6. There will be a fund raising fish fry on Thursday, June 5, 2014. Proceeds will be in aid of ASI/IAD Belize Mission and Walkers Childrens Home. Contact your Childrens Ministries director or the zone coordinator, Sis. Winsome Martin for tickets.

7. The office is now accepting orders for VBS materials and certificates.
(6) Womens Ministries Department

1. Our Mother Daughter Affair will be held on Sunday April 27, 2014. Directors kindly send the list with the names of the persons who will be in attendance by Monday, April 21, 2014. Kindly note that where there are challenges you can attend alone. 2. Girls of Eloquence Morals and Standards (GEMS) anniversary will be held on Sabbath, April 26, 2014, beginning at 3:30 p.m. Venue -Half Way Tree Church. Come hear HUMBLE at their best. All Mentors, BEAMS, friends and well-wishers are invited. 3. The General Conference Womens Ministries Emphasis Day material for June is available. Click here for the reading or call the office to arrange for your hard copy. 4. Come join the EJC GEMS in their fund raising Lap-a-thon on Friday, May 23, 2014. Proceeds in aid of the Educational Foundation for Childrens Care and GEMS activities.

(7) Youth Ministries Department

1. DAY OF PRAYER FOR THE YOUTH: In all our churches April 26, 2014 has been designated a day of prayer for our Youth. As per usual we will utilize the years theme. Empowered for Victory in the execution of this programme. 2. DATA FORM: Please submit form with relevant information requested immediately! 3. EJC HONOURS COMMITTEE: Sunday May 4, 2014 is the submission date for the grades of all honours booklets which are to be marked by the resource person/s who taught the honours as identified by each club in consultation with the Honours Committee. On Sunday May 18, the Honours Committee will communicate to each church the three (3) sample booklets it would like to review for each honour. Exams will be on Sunday May 25, and club directors should send the requested sample booklets only on that date. The Early Bird Honours submission has been rescheduled. The new date for submission of all Early Bird Honour grades is Sunday May 4, 2014. Exams for these honours will be held on Sunday May 25, 2014. Folders MUST be submitted on the same date. Sign Language Honour requirements: 1. Know the Sign Language alphabets 2. Know the Pathfinder Song and be able to sign the song Draw Me Close to You. 3. Complete a one page written report on a school that specializes in deaf education Note: a practical examination will be given for this honour. 4. BIBLE BOOM 2014: The Books to be studied are Hosea-Micah. Every AYS must be on board as we want our youth to become men and women of the WORD!!!

5. 13th YOUTH & CHILDRENS MISSION TRIP TO BELIZE- July 24 August 18, 2014. Interested youth please contact the Children or Youth Ministries Department at East Jamaica Conference. Registration closing SOON!!!

(8) Notices from the Sabbath School / Personal Ministries / Comm. Services Department

1. The 2014-2015 Ambassador search continues. We are encouraging all Sabbath School superintendents, A.Y. & Childrens Ministries leaders, along with the parents of our juniors, teens and youth, (ages 13-22 years) to motivate their participation in this programme. Application & prerequisite forms are available on line and at EJC office. Registration deadline is extended until April 28, 2014 Registration fee is two hundred dollars ($200). 2. Community Services monthly meeting & Senior Citizens bi-monthly meeting will be held on April 27, 2014 in the EJC Chapel at 10 a.m. & 1 p.m. respectively. 3. Prison Ministry Take-out Luncheon - May 22, 2014, Tickets cost $700.00 & $800.00 4. EJC School of Evangelism, Year 4 and the Year of Non-formal Education begins on May 25, 2014 - EJC boardroom starting at 9 a.m. All Sabbath School teacher must attend these sessions to be certified in October 2014 by the Inter-American Division. 5. Reminding all Sabbath School Superintendents & Personal Ministries Leaders: i) to ensure the conduct of the Parent Care Group (PCG) & Operation Reclamation and to register the relevant names to the MM14 Initiative. 6. June 14, 2014 MM 14 Cluster C New Believers Convention & June 21 for all other Clusters.

1. Effective Tuesday, April 1 2014, all reading materials (literature) will be supplied by Inter-

American Division Publishing Association (IADPA). The Book and Nutrition Center (BNC) no longer exists. IADPA is now the direct supplier of all books to the colporteur.
2. To all Pastors, Elders, and Publishing Coordinators for all churches in zone 4

Dear brethren, Christian greetings! This Sabbath, April 19 promises to be an exciting and inspiring one for the entire St. Thomas. All are invited, particularly the Publishing Directors, to this grand celebration. Pastor Omri Davis, former Publishing Director of the North Jamaica Conference will be the Divine Hour speaker.

Pastor Dudley Hosin, Jamaica Union Publishing Director will conduct a colporteurs graduation ceremony, where 11 Literature Evangelists will be graduating. This will be the first of its kind in East Jamaica Conference. Come and learn from Sister Debra Williams, noted cancer survivor, how to eat cancer free meals through proper nutrition. By using the instructions in E.G. Whites Ministry of Healing, she treated herself back to good health after defying the doctors orders for chemotherapy! Looking forward to see you at Yallahs S.D.A.
