Back Page 1 | Page 2 KUMUD Ranjan Research Associate Office: RTP/BX-09 Phone: (+65) 6790 6787 Email: KRanjan@ntu.edu.sg Ranjan obtained his Bachelors degree in Electronics Engineering with distinction in 2004 from NIT- Jamshedpur, India. He has more than seven years of work experience in III-V semiconductor devices for RF application. Kumud has also previously worked in GAETEC, a GaAs foundry, on 0.5 micron MESFET & HEMT technology based L to Ku band MMIC development. He has also worked in IIT Kharagpur as a Senior Research Fellow for AlGaN/GaN HEMT design & development for RF application. Ranjan has also published various technical papers in International conferences and journals. His area of research includes GaN based HEMT characterization & modelling for circuit design and investigation of its parameters for improvising its DC & RF power capability in wide frequency band operation. WONG Wei Jie, Terence Research Assistant Office: RTP/BX-08 Phone: (+65) 6513 8128 Email: wweijie@ntu.edu.sg Wei Jie graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical and Electronics Engineering) from Nanyang Technological University in 2011. From 2007 to 2009, he was working in Chartered Semiconductor Manufacturing Fab 2 ion-implantation module as a Process Associate Engineer where he was exposed to wafer manufacturing process, rework procedures, SPC and SEC control. He had received recognition awards for his contribution while he is working in Chartered Semiconductor Manufacturing on excursion free exercise. NARASIMHAN Vinayak Research Assistant Office: RTP/BX-08 Phone: (+65) 6316 2935 Email: NVinayak@ntu.edu.sg Vinayak graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering Degree (Hons) in 2012 from National University of Singapore majoring in Mechanical Engineering. He joined the Silicon MEMS team at TL@NTU as a Research Assistant in June 2012. At present, Vinayak is also pursuing a Master of Engineering Degree at the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (MAE) in NTU through research. His research areas at TL include Si/SiGe piezoresistive and capacitive sensing schemes for MEMS accelerometers with large dynamic range. He specialises in MEMS design and simulation of device physics. Back to top

TEO Jian Tong, Adrian Research Assistant Office: N3-B3b-05 Email: AdrianTeo@ntu.edu.sg Adrian graduated with a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering Degree in 2012 from Nanyang Technological University with a specialization in Design. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D at the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (MAE) in NTU. His current area of research is in Optical Sensors for High Sensitivity Motion Detection. CHUA Shen Lin Research Assistant Office: S1-B2c-20 Email: ShenLin@ntu.edu.sg Shen Lin obtained his Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering with Second Class Honours (Upper Division) from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in 2012. He is currently pursuing his Doctorate of Philosophy in NTU. His current area of research is in 3D integration of MEMS and CMOS. Back to top

SAW Giek Zhen Research Assistant Office: RTP/BX-08 Phone: (+65) 6513 8128 Email: GZSaw@ntu.edu.sg Saw Giek Zhen received his Bachelor's Degree of Science in Applied Physics from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore in 2013. During his undergraduate study, he was an Intern at TL @ NTU, assisting in visual inspection and measurement, which included RF, I-V and pulsed measurement in the division of MTDC. He also involved in data processing by using Excel Macro VBA and MATLAB. He is currently working as Research Assistant at TL @ NTU in the division of MTDC. Back to top

LIM Hong Yi Research Assistant Office: RTP/BX-08 Phone: (+65) 6316 2938 Email: LimHY@ntu.edu.sg Lim Hong Yi received his BEng degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore in 2009. He is currently pursuing his PhD in Nanyang Technological University working on the modeling of III-V semiconductor devices and novel MMIC circuit designs. He is currently a Research Assistant in TL@NTU aiding in the measurement and testing of fabricated III-V semiconductor devices with the MTDC team. Back to top

Nyanavoli ANANDAPAN Senior Technical Specialist Office: RTP/BX-08 Phone: (+65) 6790 5906 Email: voli@pmail.ntu.edu.sg Voli graduated from Ngee Ann Polytechnic with a Diploma in Electrical Engineering in 1988. He started his career by working in Chartered Semiconductor Manufacturing FAB 1, Science Park as an Engineering Assistant in the Equipment Engineering Department. He also gained valuable experience in TECH semiconductor Singapore. Before joining MDC in March 2005, Voli was a Senior Engineer & Acting Deputy Facility Manager in DenseLight Semiconductors Pte Ltd. He has vast experience in facilities management, equipment and material procurement of III-V Cleanrooms. Since 1988, he has worked in international semiconductors companies and in NTU as a Technical Specialist.

Louis Nicholas RETNAM Higher Technical Specialist Office: RTP/BX-08 Phone: (+65) 6790 5906 Email: Louis@ntu.edu.sg Louis Nicholas Retnam graduated from Nanyang Polytechnic with a Diploma in Electronics, Computer and Communications Engineering in the year 2000. He specialized in Embedded System Design. Before joining TL@NTU on 13 March 2006, he was working as a Field Service Engineer at International SEAR Corp. Pte Ltd for 1 years. He performed servicing and conducting training on Metrology Systems, Abatement Systems, Automation Systems, Chemical Distribution Systems and Heating Solutions for Toxic Process Gases for majority of the Semiconductor Plants and OLED Plant in Singapore. Currently in MDC, he is working on the complete backend wafer fabrication process and thin layer deposition. These include processes such as wafer bonding, back grinding and polishing, via-hole etching, electroplating, sputtering, deposition with PECVD and wafer dicing. Back to top

LU Shengnan Technical Specialist Office: RTP/BX-08 Phone: (+65) 6513 8128 Email: SNLu@ntu.edu.sg Lu Shengnan graduated from Republic Polytechnic with a Diploma in Biomedical Electronics Engineering in the year 2010. Before joining TL@NTU on 02 Sep 2011, she was working as an Assistant Manager at Soon Yong Trading Pte Ltd for 1 years. She was involved in project management of the Telecommunication Project of OpenNet Fiber Broadband network that covered Singapore extensively. She was responsible to evaluate and identify all tasks and risks from bidding to project undertaking. During her stay with Soon Yong Trading, she was also given the opportunity to lead, direct, assist and support project teams to ensure deliverable processes on time and within the budget. Currently, Shengnan is working at TL@NTU, supporting MTDC wafer fabrication in thin film, etching module. Back to top

OH Kay Fu, Eugene Technical Specialist Office: RTP/BX-08 Phone: (+65) 6316 2946 Email: eugeneoh@ntu.edu.sg Eugene graduated with a Diploma of Electronic and Computer Engineering (MicroElectronics) from Ngee Ann Polytechnic in 2009. Before joining TL@NTU on 5th February 2012, he was attached to DSO National Laboratories, Singapore, intially as an intern and later on as a temp staff for 1 year in assisting the team on the process of Radio Frequency Micro-electro-mechanical Systems (RF-MEMS) mask layout. His current area of focus will be on DC measurements and supporting back end processes. Back to top

ZAW Win Aung Technical Specialist Office: RTP/BX-08 Phone: (+65) 6514 8377 Email: ZAWaz@ntu.edu.sg Win Aung graduated B.Sc (Maths) from Yangon University, Myanmar in 2001 and Diploma in Mechanical Power Engineering from Government Techanical Institute (Yangon), Myanmar in 2001. Before he joined TL@NTU, he had worked for 2 years at Podoyo Plastic Industries (under-licensed of HP) in Malaysia as Technical Specialist (Automation).
