What is personal learning plan? An view:


Its about students and facilitator. About knowledge and their strengths, skills, learning preferences and abilities do thing in proper manner? About education approaches, overall analyses of how to meet a students learning needs and improve to higher order.

The Personal Learning Plan is an evolving touchstone document for developing your Leading Schools Project and reflecting on your learning with your critical friend. For each PLP reflection (3/year), you will review/refine your plan and describe the related Wicked Awesome Learning Opportunities (WALOs) that you have pursued at your school site. After sharing your written reflection with your critical friend, you will have the opportunity to have a reflective conversation about your work. This document will lead into your Leading School Project Program Reflection. What are you working on, and what do you hope to accomplish, in terms of The craft of teaching/working with students? At present practice teaching and learning in std 9 to 12, primary discipline is Geography for std 9, 10 and 12, for ICSE and ISC students. In this noble profession for the last 11 years I have learned many new skills. Presently, using various teaching and learning methods, improvised and incorporating tech tools. Major approach is using various methods of learning strategy. Some of the tools and medium in use like lectures, power point presentations, Prezi presentations, documentaries, classroom discussions, using charts and models. The most skill base learning is use like flipped the classroom where students work in groups of 3 or 4, where students learn through collaboration and SQ3R approach improve the 21st century skills like thinking, originality. For tech support and content base learning conduct teachers training programme. Like use of tech tools skills, subject wise workshop and training for teachers from 5 to 10. I also engage students to present and make their portfolios and present on website. Primary objectives: Increasing the accessibility and availability of learning content, via differentiated approach Inculcate curiosity among students by supporting individualized learning processes by allowing learner preferences

Providing new formats for knowledge broadcasting, achievement and execution Assessments and worksheet format base on the revised blooms taxonomy. Allowing for the creation of dynamic learning resources and environments of higher quality for learners. Embedding learning in more engaging and trigger multimedia environments; Equipping learners and teachers with versatile tools for knowledge exchange and collaboration, which overcome the limitations of face-to-face instruction. I would like to work on these areas: Increase the embedded learning and interdisciplinary approach. Work on the PBL classroom, where students work in peer group and reach interdependence to in depended learners. Assist group of learners to craft their own individual learning plan, mainly skill base. Engaging students and teachers in my team to create portfolio, and record their achievement o and work Facilitate the learners to practice and present their work for the betterment of society. Being a leader and collaborating with colleagues? For systematic and plan work within the team conducting meetings to support/manage the ongoing task and duties with effective communication by using Google Calendar. Facilitate and instrumental in collaboration with colleagues to create their portfolio and maintain the digital record of all the achievements. Working with the team members not for the team, all members are inter-depended and accountable to each other yet work independent. Facilitate the part of role of advisory in sharing own views and encourage team to share problems and work for solution in team. Daily trouble shooting -like substitution, communication and solving the problems. Work on bringing the need and demand of students as first priority, as a representative, sharing views, fore see/encounter the problem and solve the problem with the support of the team. As I think about my PLP What fierce wonderings are emerging? What do you hope to learn? My fierce wonderings: How my learners will take the new method and approach Table of content and lesson plan base on new PBL approach will help my learners to develop new skills- like mapping, identifying rock samples. Am I able to manage and reach the target as per the objective in the given timeframe? Woking in collaboration and as a team representative how will helps me and my team members, to achieve all such goals. What systematic approach I will adopt to achieve few goals if not all.

How might these be framed in an essential question or project? With the present learning method and model: How to connect with the PBL and bring new skills How to create the platform for 21st century learners. Able to facilitate the method of in depended learning model. What do you hope to accomplish? Able to facilitate the Interdisciplinary approach as faculty Planed and systematic approach in team work and execution. Able to practice teaching and learning as a PBL teacher Collaboration and integrate with team members.

Design a set of at least three Wicked Awesome Learning Opportunities (WALOs) as possible next steps. The first WALO should be designed to help you reflect on your own practice; the second should be centered around how you share your with immediate colleagues and the last WALO asks you to lead members of your community. Each WALO is an opportunity for action and reflection enabling you to address your essential questions.

WALOs (Wicked Awesome Learning Opportunities): Reflect on your practice Work on updating my present teaching method with new and improvised method like Blended learning model and compass learning. Work independently on digital portfolio and share this with team members for further enhancement Want to create and full tech class room where learners will work independently and work on finding solution for the problem base on live projects. Seek frequent feedback about my teaching method and approach from learners during classroom discussions. Share with a colleague Work in team for higher order of thinking and bring out quality materials for learners. Share my learning and discuss my methodology in department meeting. Work for action/application base projects. Lead your community Project is at the stating phase; require more time to identify the areas.
