2D PATTERNING AND PANELING

From 3D to 2D in a single click! Once the desired 3D shape is achieved, a single click creates the flat 2D panels needed to manufacture the design. Choose to create panels in any size, shape or direction. Indicate a specific width and MPanel will hold the patterns to that dimension. The reporting feature gives all relevant information such as panel area, length, width and shear strain.

COMPLETE 3D FORM-FINDING AND DESIGN TOOLS

MPanels extensive 3D formfinding and modeling capabilities allow a user to create nearly any threedimensional shape. Exactly simulating the form that fabric will take on either a rigid frame or with cable supported edges, the software provides the user complete control over Weft and Warp stress ratios, edge and internal cable tensions and connection hardware.

The easy to use and comprehensive interface provides the user access to one of the most powerful tools for designing fabric structures available anywhere!

MATERIAL COMPENSATION
Selecting the powerful Material Compensation tool allows MPanel to pre-shrink a panel to account for any postproduction stretch in the material. Options allow for any material type (Canvas, PVC, PTFE, HDPE and other shade cloths, etc) as well as variable settings for different parts of the pattern. Easily specify both Weft and Warp factors.

The MPanel Options screen is extensive, yet intuitive.

3D VIEWS & RENDERINGS

SEAM ALLOWANCE

ANNOTATION
Each panel created in MPanel is assigned a unique ID number. Use this to track each one throughout the project and add it to the output as a printable option.

NESTING
The optional Nesting program will automatically stack and align patterns to any table width and length that you choose. Use it to minimize your waste, saving both time and money.

OUTPUT
The MPanel Output option writes to most large format cutting tables or to any Windows printer. Use the Skeleton option to create panel dimensions to cut by hand.
