There are number of websites available online, including the project management consultancies firms
websites, project management training sites and other information providing web pages. By reviewing
these web sites and all the relevant material, its become easy to understand the variety of services and the
approaches the companies usually follow. In this assignment I have not only to restructure the
project4technology project management company but also make up plan for the company to startup
virtual setup and also reconsider the running business market in three industrial sectors.
How a virtual structure differs from a traditional office setup, what are its key benefits and disadvantages
of virtual office over normal office? New staff levels in a hybrid structure in immediate future, their
activities, specific roles and responsibilities and target market. How to convince the staff and employee
on the proposed changes in the policies and operations of the project4technology? What will be the
benefit the staff going to take after the proposed changes and plans to overcome any specific resistance
caused by the current employee on the upcoming changes?
Quality is the main focus which holds the company, clients and market together. How the better quality
and services can be provided to establish and maintain the long lasting relationship with the clients. How

1. Reduction of real estate expenses. As Projects4Technology office is in the middle of city so it
is expensive to acquire and maintain. A virtual location allows you to work everywhere.
2. Distributing the workforce:

eliminates a wide variety of expenses associated with real estate and employee support functions
while concurrently improving productivity and business continuity.

Supervisors and management facing the real unique challenge as the staff is not visible, so the
supervisors have to flexible in their management style. Sometime the workers are not logged on so
the mangers and supervisor thinks the workers are not performing their duties.

Both the manager and the worker will need to be extremely organized for a virtual office to succeed.
The biggest problem arises that the mangers found it not easy to put the virtual office workload on a
realistic work structure.

Finance and business manager comes under the MD, while the finance manager supervising two
administrative staff and a trainee. Business manager play a key role and bearing heavy responsibilities.
He has to manage the main office and also virtual staff. As the public sector is going to be half in
business in the coming 2-3 years due to government policies so it is the least interested sector. The
company has a well established reputation in this sector and it provides a reasonable margin to the
company so quitting this sector is not smart choice. Thats why only two project consultants and one
graduate trainee is appointed to the public sector. Banking and finance and SME are the sectors where
more work should be done. In banking and finance there are few but high margin contracts, which gives a
high cost of sale per contract, so I proposed five project management consultants specialized in this sector
assisted by one graduate trainee. Whereas in SME is the sector where there is a great chance of growth
whether the profit margin is small but still it is a vast growing market. I proposed about five consultants
and two graduate trainees.

clients? How it can be used as a marketing tool to help differentiate a company from its competitors.
There are many factors contributing in the success and long lasting business relationships of the
companies with their clients. Among them quality is the major factor, as continuous provision of the
better quality and services is the bond that holds the client with any company. There are number of
companies and businesses which provide or supply the product or any services to the user, but what
makes them different from each other. This difference is the quality and better service. Client always
want best quality services and the product. In any area of life relationships stands on trust and the trust is
built on quality.
Long-term client relationships are what keep businesses alive. Long-term clients also serve as free
advertising; a happy client will tell her friends about you, providing word-of-mouth publicity. With a few
simple steps, you can manage your long-term clients and keep your business running smoothly.
Deliver on every promise you make with proper quality. A sure way to lose a customer is to tell her one
thing and deliver another and poor quality.
Offer discounts to your clients when they return for service. But discount did not mean the lack of quality.
Promptly return phone calls. Quality services should be provided, resulting in customer satisfaction.

Approaches to recruitment of graduate trainees for Projects4Technology
There are number of ways through which trainee graduate can be recruited and selected for
appropriate department. There are two main approaches to recruit graduates for
project4technology.
1. University job fair
2. Recruitment agencies
Every year there are many job fairs held in different universities, where different companys
correspondents provide the facility to the upcoming graduates to join them and they have the
opportunity not only to choose the better option but to focus on their career in life. Companies
also have the choice to bargain and take the suitable candidate.
Recruitment agencies are also appropriate option for selection of graduate trainees. These
agencies simply put the vacancies on their office board and websites. They in turn receive lot of
applications against the listed vacancies. After scrutinizing and short listed of the selected
candidates on merit, they pass the information of candidates to the company so the company can
avail the best option among them. These two approaches are the better way to recruit trainee for
the project4technology.
Project management services are bit different from the other management services. This is the
career path for only those persons who particularly interested in it. Some time students make
projects and assignments in project management. Such students submitted these projects during
their selection in job fair or to the recruitment agency. Project4technology is a small to medium
company with limited resources and work force so these approaches help the company to pick
