Guitar Chords: Tum Hi Ho, Aashiqui 2 | AbhiGuitar

OK, it is a little late to be posting this song now, but as I wasnt fully active in 2013, I missed quite a few of the hit songs that came during that time. A blog covering latest Bollywood songs would be incomplete without this sad romantic number. Tum Hi Ho from the movie Aashiqui 2 needs no introduction, everybody knows this song. Not surprisingly, as it is a sad melody, most of the chords are minor (Check Basic Open Chords Lesson for more details). The song is in the key of Fm and uses other minor chords like Bbm and Cm which come in the F minor scale. But if you are wondering whether you need barre chords, the capo comes to the rescue. A capo on 1st fret will simplify most of the chords to simple basic open chord. Check it out:

song. A better option is to finger-pick the chords in the background. First play the root note and then the higher notes of the chord.
