What do I plan on doing for my career? I plan on going into the army for 4 years to see if that s !hat I really !ant to do" I plan on getting scholarships from the army so I can get some of my collage paid for" I #e had time to plan this out and this is !hat I !ant to do for a career"

I m eighteen and in high school if I !anted to enlist !hile I !as in school I !ould ha#e to $oin the army reser#e" %he army reser#es &eep you in school if !e had to go to !ar you !ould ha#e to go they help you pass school and graduated" When you enlist into the army reser#es then you get sent to 'asic training during the summer and !hen you get 'ac& school !ill 'e starting 'ac& up in a !ee&" If I had the (S)(* score to enlist !hile I m in school I !ould 'ut I don t ha#e to re+uired scores to enlist" When I turned se#enteen I too& the (S)(* and did not get the score I !anted to so I &eep trying to get the re+uired score !itch is ,1" If I !as to past the test though !hen I !as se#enteen I !ould ha#e 'een enlisted for 2 years $unior year and senior year" %hat !ould count to!ards my 4 years so I !ould ha#e 2 years left to decide if I !anted to stay in the army or lea#e"

I am thin&ing of going to 'a&er collage and loo&ing at !hat classes they ha#e there" So the army could pay for some of my collage" If I don t go there then I !ill go to eastern Michigan collage out in (nn (r'or and I could go to -.%C in collage if I go to a collage for -.%C for 2 years I can get out of 'asic training" %here is no degree re+uired for army infantry"

s+uad" I #e al!ays !anted to do this e#er scenes I !as 5 years old" My grandpa !as in )ietnam and I loo& up to him 'ecause that !as a trou'le !ar and he sur#i#ed that" I #e tal&ed to him a'out $oining the army and he doesn t !ant me to do it 'ecause he thin&s it !ill 'e trou'le for me and I !ont get the right stuff to ha#e a career" I thin& he $ust doesn t !ant me to die and not 'e a'le to li#e my life" My mom and dad are right 'ehind me on this decision" %hey are trying to help me impro#e my (S)(* score so I can do something 'eside infantry" When I !ear my uniform in to to!n 'ecause I forget to change or I $ust don t ha#e the time to change 'ut the !ay people loo& at me !hen they see me in my uniform they say than& you and e#erything I tell them I m not enlisted I m in 3-.%C 'ut they still say than& you for thin&ing a'out going into the ser#ice" 3-.%C helped me !ith so many thing li&e" %he stuff that I am learning from (rmy 3-.%C !ill help me after I get done !ith the army" 6i&e !hen I am !or&ing in a store say Mei$er s I can get a managers spot 'ecause I !ill &no! ho! to lead people than&s to the 3-.%C program" I can get a!ards in 3-.%C that !ill get me promoted I can get up to a sergeant from 'eing in this class" Similar $o's in this field can 'e li&e the police 'ut not as aggressi#e" %hat s !hy may'e after the military I !ould li&e to $oin the force and protect people in the country" I #e had plenty of time to thin& this through and this is !hat I !ant too do" It has al!ays 'een !hat I !anted to do and I m going to do !hat e#er it ta&es to ma&e sure I get this career"
