Operation Prom Night Chicago, IL Volunteer May 2009-Present Worked in conjunction with local fire and police departments to educate high school students on the dangers of drinking and driving. Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), University of Illinois Champaign, IL Womens Soccer Representative January 2010-May 2012 Served as liaison between teammates and SAAC to shape intercollegiate athletics policy and enhance the student athlete experience. Aided in the organization of an annual student-athlete produced variety show which grossed over $35,000 for charities. Hometown Heroes, University of Illinois Champaign, IL Volunteer August 2009 December 2011 Promoted the importance of education working with students one-on-one and in small group settings with the goal of improving reading skills and vocabulary in a positive, fun environment.
