INTRODUCING LANSING UNITED Fridays exhibition against the Ann Arbor Football Club will be the first-ever match in Lansing United history. PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT Lansing United kicked off its pre-season training on Monday, April 28 at the East Lansing Soccer Complex. Head Coach Eric Rudland held multiple practice sessions this week following the open tryouts the team hosted earlier in April. TRYOUTS POPULAR More than 85 soccer players attended two open tryout sessions held on Saturday, April 19 at the East Lansing Soccer Complex. The sessions were each two hours long and allowed Rudland the opportunity to see local talent that could potentially be added to the roster. ROSTER SIZE Lansing United can carry a maximum of 26 players on the official roster, but Rudland plans to use as many as 35 throughout the season.

PLAYING FRIENDLY This is the first of four exhibition matches scheduled for Lansing United. The team will take on the Ann Arbor Football club again on May 13 at the East Lansing Soccer Complex. They will also play the USL Premier Development Leagues Michigan Bucks on May 7. That match will take place at Ultimate Soccer Arenas in Pontiac, Mich. In addition, United will play a friendly on July 16 against a team to be determined.
