Title
A safety report of workshop at TTC in mechanical production department it is for protecting the trainees and trainers of the risks around the workshop.

Introduction
This report is aimed to cover. The workshop (Health and Safety) In general, health and safety laws apply to all businesses, no matter how small. As an employer, or a self-employed person, you are responsible for health and safety in your business. You need to take the right precautions to reduce the risks of workplace dangers and provide a safe working environment. Health and safety management should be a Clear part of managing your workplace as a whole. It involves practical steps that protect people from harm and at the same time protect the future success and the growth of your business. What are the main causes of ill health and accidents at work? Each year people are killed at work and many are injured or suffer ill health. The most common causes of serious injury at work are slips and trips and falls from height. There are health conditions that can be caused or made worse by work and working environments, including cancer, asthma, skin complaints, stress and back pain.

Designing workplace:
Work areas should be large enough to be safe and healthy. This must include general stability, ventilation and fresh air, temperature and lighting. People and vehicles must be able to move from point A to point B Safely. Traffic routes, entrances and exits must be kept clear. Floors, walls, ceilings, roofs, doors and gates, loading Section and stairs must be safe. Toilet, washing and welfare facilities must be provided. In addition, rest rooms, changing rooms and sanitary facilities. Employees or trainees working outdoors should be protected against bad weather, noise, slippery conditions.

A safe place of work:

How we can manage a workshop to be safe. We must to follow many of Rules to make the workshop more safety; these points down explain what we have to do to make the workshop safer like: -Make sure your buildings are in good repair. -Maintain the workshop and any equipment so that it is safe and works efficiently. -Put right any dangerous defects immediately, or take steps to protect anyone at risk. -Have enough space for safe movement and access.
-Good light use natural light where possible but try to avoid glare. -Safe passage for pedestrians and vehicles. -Provide clean floors and stairs. -Provide containers for waste materials. -Remove dirt, refuse and trade waste regularly. -Clear up spillages promptly. -Keep internal walls or ceilings clean.

Safety signs:
Employers or collages must provide safety signs if there is a significant risk that can't be avoided or controlled in any other way. Employers or collages must, where necessary: -Use road traffic signs in workshop to regulate road . traffic -Maintain the safety signs they provide. -Explain unfamiliar signs to their employees and tell them what they need to do when they see safety signs.

Machinery safety:
Why is machinery safety important in workshop?
-People can be struck and injured by moving parts of machinery or ejected material.

Parts of the body can also be drawn in or trapped between rollers, belts and pulley drives. -Sharp edges can cause cuts and severing injuries, sharp-pointed parts can cause stabbing or puncture the skin, and rough surface parts can cause friction or abrasion. -Parts of the machine, materials and emissions (such as steam or water) can be hot or cold enough to cause burns or scalds and electricity can cause electrical shock and burns.

-Injuries can also occur due to machinery becoming unreliable and developing faults or when machines are used improperly through inexperience or lack of training.
What do I have to do to make sure the Machinery is in good condition? Before you start using any machine you need to think about what risks may occur and how these can be managed. You should therefore do the following: -Check that the machine is complete, with all safeguards fitted, and free from defects. Ensure every static machine has been installed properly and is stable. Choose the right machine for the job and do not put machines where customers or visitors may be exposed to risk.

Findings
