As this year rolls on it becomes more and more obvious that deep changes are taking place around us and within us. For many conscious humans who have walked their path, cleared their personal baggage, and been through some level of transforma tion the world and its goings on can be observed from a place of com passion and acceptance. For others, the journey is still in pro gress. It is a time for learning to let go and finding compassion and acceptance in a world that often seems crazy and as a hu man being who often feels that they are going crazy. One of my newer students told me recently that she enjoyed my book The New Consciousness Book of Ascension, but, she said, what does it mean to let go of all your baggage? What is your baggage and how do you let it go? These questions were an invitation for me to open up this sub ject and go deeper into it and I thought I would share some of that here with you. Letting go is the key to ascension/enlightenment and one of my favourite expressions comes from Ascended Master Kuthumi Lal Singh, who says (with a big grin), On the way to ascension I lost everything. And indeed, that is exactly what happens. However, the fine print here is that in letting go we release that which no longer serves us and we gain more than we could ever possibly imagine. For a human being the loss of anything held dear is devastating, the thought of losing loved ones, your home, your security,

your weekly pay cheque, your status quo. But despite holding on to these things, most humans are not truly happy. They are surviving, they have just enough, they endure hardships and less than ideal conditions. Why? Because the big, bad what if mon ster rears its ugly head and keeps the human being in the same circum stances because what if they changed something and life got worse? Lets look at this energetically for a moment. The more you hold on to something, the more you block the energy which keeps you stuck in the same reality. Letting go allows the energy to flow again and therefore opens up new potentials that you cannot see until you let go.

How do you let go? You just make a choicea clear, conscious choice one that comes from your heart not your head. When you do this you open up new energetic pathways that allows energy to flow in to sup port you. Surprisingly, most people dont choose, they hope and pray that things will get better, forgetting that THEY are the creators. To be clear, your baggage is every thing that you hold on toold belief systems handed down from family, friends, society, religion etc, its the guilt, shame, regret, anger that you carry with you, its when you hold on to events of the past and allow them to direct your life in the now, its your fears and pains, its your stories about who you think you are

ESSENTIAL OILS with Keryn Lee

One of my favourite Young Living oils is a blend known as Sacred Mountain. I often diffuse it before a class that is going to be quite deep and transformational to help ground the participants and bring a sense of security and support. I also diffuse it prior to healing sessions and even use it as a perfume as it has a lovely aroma. I have even heard of people who put a few drops on a wet cloth and put in the clothes dryer or spin cycle to add a beautiful calm ing aroma to the linens. Sacred Mountain is made up of the essen tial oils of Spruce, Idaho Balsam Fir, Cedar wood and Ylang Ylang and just like a moun tain it instils strength, empowerment and grounding while also offering a sense of being in a sacred environment. The conifer oils used in this blend have been used by the North American Indians for hundreds of years to harness the energy of the planet and bring protection. The oils helped them to recharge energetically at all levels. It is believed that is why animals like to take shelter or rest under these trees.
