INTRODUCTION:In this project we have studied the different car loan schemes and financial
procedure and their impact on automobile industry. We have procured the data from
the internal as well as external sources. Growth of automobile industry is driven by
the different car loan schemes provided by the different financial institutions.
Approximately 60% cars are sold on finance which makes this industry very crucial
and catalyst for the growth of automobile industry. We have strived to find out the
impact of car loan and financial procedure on customer and their buying behavior.
Billy was a man of vision, and his vision of automobile financing materialized in the

financing source for automobile loans. In 1919, GMAC branches were opened in
Detroit, New York, Chicago, San Francisco and Toronto. In 1920, they expanded to
Great Britain. By 1928, theyd written their 4 millionth retail contract. As the
automobile industry expanded, so did the business of car loans .To make it easy for
potential customers to own Tata Motors vehicles, Tata ventured into vehicle
financing way back in 1957.Today, Tata Motor Finance (TMF), the in-house
financing arm of Tata Motors, provides a single window service to customers by
being accessible to them through the dealers.
Tata Motors Ltd pioneered commercial vehicle financing in 1957 in the name
of BHPC (Bureau for Hire Purchase and Credit). Tata Motors Finance Ltd (TMFL),
came into existence in June 2003. This was a common front-end, jointly formed by
BHPC (Bureau for Hire Purchase and Credit) of Tata Motors and the asset financing
arm of erstwhile Tata Finance Ltd.

details to the lender as the information, especially that on your job and income,
helps the agent to work out details such as the rate of interest and the duration of
the loan; not forgetting the repayment structure. The loan is in a way secured by the
vehicle itself, and it hardly matters what your credit rating or score is! You could go
through the procedure on you own or employ the
