Configuring Sangoma PRI with Netborder VOIP Gateway for 3CX Phone System

Follow the installation guide provided by Sangoma and install the latest Netborder Express.
Part 1: Setting u Sangoma !onfiguration
1. After installation, the web interface will display the uic! setup main screen. Start this
wi"ard and follow the instructions. #lic! on Next

the default S/0 address should be localhost$.121 or 1'3.1.1.1$.121
+he 4efault S/0 port to listen on in this case is .122. +his is local to the localhost therefore
ma!e sure that .122 is free and not used by anything else.

2. #lic! Finish and restart the gateway when prompted.
8ou should see the following screen

Part " # Configuration of 3CX Phone System
1. 9o to 0S+N gateway and clic! on Add 0S+N gateway
'. +ype a name and select the Sangoma gateway from the list of supported gateways
). #onfirm that gateway ;ostname and /0 are 1'3.1.1.1 and that the port is .122. +his should
match the configuration set in the %uic! Setup section of the Sangoma. Select the
appropriate /S4N type. <e will choose E1 for this example.

*. #lic! Next until you arrive to the 0orts section.
>emove the Authentication password leaving this field blan!.

2. /n the final page you will see a button @9enerate #onfig (uttonA, clic! on this and save the
file renaming it as follows$ routing:rules.xml
Note$ /t is important that the extension is changed to 7&B. +he file has to have the exact
naming convention as described above.
3. +his file needs to be replaced and put in the Sangoma /nstalled 0ath. 9o to the installed
path where you installed Netborder express on the machine$ example$
#$C0rogram FilesCNetborderCExpressC9atewayCconfig and replace the file @routing:rules.xmlA
with the one Dust generated by )#7.
8. Now access http$EElocalhost$33=) or go to StartEAll programsENetborder Express 9ateway
and clic! on 9ateway &anager
?. #lic! on Status and controls. 8ou need to restart the Netborder Express gateway for the
changes to ta!e effect. #lic! on Stop 9ateway. After you receive the confirmation message
that the gateway is stopped, clic! on Start 9ateway to start the gateway.

Note$ at the bottom right of the screen there is an indicator stating @#onfiguration SynchedA. +his
means that the configuration added to the gateway is synchroni"ed and that the 9ateway has
reloaded all the configuration files ,including routing:rules.xml-.
#ongratulations$ 8ou have successfully configured the Sangoma A111 /S4N gateway with )#7. 8ou
can now configure &SNE44/ in )#7 to complete the configuration.
