A: List the major ideas, concepts or key points- point by point
The sea is as important as the atmosphere in controlling the planters weather. The disastrous El Nio of the past year in- creased public awareness that many unusual events all over the globe. Some of the most familiar weather systems occur at middle latitudes, although the driving forces behind this activity are oceans far away. Storms, the warm air rises up and over the incursion of cold, denser air. Sometimes the link between oceans and storms can be more explosive. For exam- ple, outpourings of frigid Arctic air frequently sweep down across. Bombs develop extremely quickly, tax- ing the ability of weather forecasters and often causing death and destruction. The storms have central pressures that are as low as many hurricanes, sometimes as little as 960 millibars. The ocean also generates intense storms at lower latitudes, in or around certain tropical regions. Ocean and near northern Australia, they are known as cyclones. The temperature at the surface of the sea now becomes the critical factor. The exceptional warmth of the tropical ocean boosts the amount of evaporation. 10 percent of them intensify into full-fledged hurricanes. As springtime arrives in the Northern Hemisphere, the trade winds lose strength
B: Summarize the AUTHORs main point or idea- at LEAST 1-2 paragraphs Planet causes the suns rays to spread out over a greater area. Solar heating at high latitudes is reduced even further in winter, when the axis of the planet tilts away from the sun. The ocean and the atmosphere work together like a planetary thermostat, sharing nearly equally the task of exporting heat from equatorial regions toward the poles. The warm, moist air created in this way rises because it is less dense than the surrounding atmosphere. If the earth did not rotate, this heated air would travel directly toward the poles. The ocean also generates intense storms at lower latitudes, in or around certain tropical regions. The temperature at the surface of the sea now becomes the critical factor. The exceptional warmth of the tropical ocean boosts the amount of evaporation. The rotating storm sustains itself by picking up as much energy from the surface of the ocean as it releases in its many thunderous clouds. But that equilibrium does not last forever.

It didnt have much of a effect on me. I know water is important, almost all the planet Earth is made up of water, it was obvious that it had to be that important. This article is telling us
how much we depend on it, and how much it helps us on our daily life, and thats true so I wasnt surprise. With all the chemicals that we are adding to our products its hard to keep the sea from reaching some of it. It is affecting it, its getting warmer and we have to do something, this also contributes global warming. The sea is as important as the atmosphere in controlling the planets weather. Because if the water is too hot it would get reflected. Something should be done.
What?
Water is very important, and in this article it shows and demonstrate why my point was correct. We need to in order to measure and know the changes in the climate. It also contributes to the global warming changes. The ocean it big and whatever we do it also affect us. Say who?
Peter J. Webster and Judith A. Curry
What if?
The water of the sea didnt show us anything. IF we couldnt tell what the sea is showing and explaining we would be in a very big problem. The sea is trying to let us know whats happening in the earn and the temperature. What does it remains you of?
The article about water, in this one too there are talking about the water. How much its useful to us. And how much we depend on it.
