Course Description:
Welcome to CSA2 (Computer Skills & Applications 2) taught throughout the state of
North Carolina. This middle school course is composed of instructional modules
designed to provide handson instruction in digital literac! and soft"are applications.
The soft"are applications include "ord processing# desktop pu$lishing# presentation
soft"are and spreadsheets. %nglish language arts and mathematics are reinforced. This
course contri$utes to the development of a career development plan.
Resource Requirements&
All students enrolled in CSA2 and using this resource should have access to a
computer and high speed 'nternet. The entire (icrosoft )ffice Suite 2**+ or ne"er
must also $e purchased and installed on the student,s computer. Students must have
ke!$oarding e-perience and a $asic idea of using the 'nternet and navigating through
portal "e$sites.
