INTRODUCTION
The 1st ASEAN CIO Forum in 2012 was held in Bangkok, Thailand promoting the
key objective to implement ASEAN ICT MASTERPLAN 2015. It also serve as a
platform to promote sharing of best practices and collaboration among ASEAN
CIOs including government, businesses, citizens and academic institutions.

The 2nd ASEAN CIO FORUM as continuation of the this regional cooperation will
be held on 10-11 June 2013 in Jakarta, Indonesia. We have set up the theme
Shaping ASEAN Future Through E-Leadership and Collaboration for this forum
and it will be organized and supported by Ministry of Communication and
Information Technology of Indonesia and Collaboration with Agency for The
Assessment and Application of Technology (BPPT).

The 2nd ASEAN CIO FORUM 2013 is designed with focus on ICT covering wide
topics from convergence to optimatization to cloud to innovative e-leadership to
interoperability to security to best practices of privates sector and Facing IT
Trends.
The target audience of the ASEAN CIO FORUM 2013 is 500 professionals
includes ASEAN CIOs Delegates, CIOs, professionals and highest level
management of the largest regional companies, factories, state institutions,
governmental bodies and citizens.
This forum will be held with other activities such as Indonesia Cellular Show
(ICS 2013) and International Conference on ICT for Smart Society; and
Exhibitions (from local and International Companies).

ASEAN CIO FORUM 2013 provides a good platform for information sharing and
networking among CIO officials in the ASEAN region.

GOALS :
Our Goals are :
In order to welcoming AFTA 2015, to determine the direction and
continue to follow up the cooperation between ASEAN countries, and to
strengthening supporting pillars and critical factors especially in ICT
sectors to boost economic growth, communities and competitiveness of
ASEAN in sustainable and inclusive way
Determine the direction of the ICT implementation in each ASEAN
member countries in order to achieve the objectives stated in the WSIS-
related MDG's fulfillment, as well as inspiring other ASEAN member to
do same or similar thing based on the success stories
Sharing information of national level budget that has been issued to the
development of ICT, which is where the implementation is done in order
to achieve a certain level in the management of standard ICT / ICT
governance
Initiatives lead to the manufacture of Jakarta Statement on ASEAN CIO
Forum in preparation for the ASEAN community in 2015 by proposing
alternatives to the proposal that certain sectors can do a deal with
particularly in the CIO as such - but not limited to - banking,
telecommunications, and oil & gas could enter inter-ASEAN trading

Exhibition
Early booking is essential, as space is limited and trade tables will be allocated
