I am pleased to offer this recommendation on behalf of Aysia James. For the past four years, I
have been acquainted with Aysia, as a student enrolled in my Clothing and Textile, Fashion
Design and Merchandising, and ROP Creative Design and Merchandising classes at Merced
High School. As a student, she demonstrated an ability to delegate authority using her
strengths to enhance her skills allowing her to achieve success in all her endeavors. Her work
ethics is of an exceptional quality including responsible behavior and trustworthiness.

Aysia demonstrates a great deal of natural creative ability, When given a project they are well
organized, very creative and always demonstrate mastery of every task presented to her. It is
my observation that Aysia conducts herself in a professional manner, performing her duties with
the utmost efficiency and ability. She is innovative and dynamic in a group setting, infusing
motivation and natural leadership in every situation.

During high school Aysia participated in the career technical student organization FHA-HERO:
The California Affiliate of Family Careers and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA). As a
member she competed in Fashion Design a Competitive Recognition Event placing first at
regional and state winning a scholarship to the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising.
Also qualifying for National competition in the STAR Event Fashion Design this will be in J uly
2014 in San Antonio, Texas. I believe Aysia has the determination and good work habits that
will enable her to succeed as she continues her education and is working towards her future
career goal to become a fashion designer.

It is without hesitation that I recommend Aysia J ames to you and I am confident that she will be
successful in a competitive college program. She possesses the qualities necessary for
