Application Process
Applicants must complete the application materials and submit them to APSC by November 15, 2012.
Hand-written or scanned copies of these documents are acceptable only if you have difficulties
completing these documents electronically using Adobe Reader (version 7.0 or higher). If you do not
have the free Adobe Reader, you can download it here: http://get.adobe.com/reader/otherversions/)
Materials Required
1. APSC 2013 Scholarship Application*
2. One academic letter of reference (sent directly by referee using the APSC 2013 Reference Form*).
3. One professional letter of reference (sent directly by referee using the APSC 2013 Reference Form*).
4. Scanned copies of previous university-level educational transcripts (or explanation as to why these are
unavailable).
5. Scanned copy of your passport photo page (if available).Do not include scans of stamped visa pages.
6. Scanned copies of one of the following:
a. Any official English language exams you have taken, such as TOEFL or IELTS
b. EPOP TOEFL Diagnostic Exam
Selection and University Application Process
Selection is based on academic professional merit, professional aptitude, leader potential, long-term
commitment to the applicants home country, and English language ability. Semi-finalists will be tested for
English proficiency and interview by a qualified committee. Successful candidates will be invited to apply for
specific APSC partner university based on their interests and positions available. The program will cover
costs associated with the English test and interview.
In most cases APSC will assist successful applicants to apply to partner universities after they have been
notified about winning APSC. Please note that applicants interest in their Master of Public Health at
Mahidol University must apply independently by January 31:

Masters courses will stated between July and December 2013 depending on the prospective university.
Support will be provided for all logistics related to travel and registration at the respective universities.
English Examination Procesess
APSC partners with the Exam Preparation Outreach program (EPOP) to offer free, online diagnostic English
examinations applicants who do not ready have a TOFEL or IELTS score. The EPOP test enables APSC to
estimate how the students would score on a formal TOFEL test.
If you already have an English score and include with your application, you do not to take the EPOP exam. If
you do not have a score already, you register and complete the online diagnostic exam with the EPOP
before the November 15th Deadline.
To register for the diagnostic exam, please mail apsconsortium@gmail.com with the following information:
1:Your full name (spelling must be consistent with your identification information).
2:Your email address
3:The city where you currently live
4:The country where you currently live
You will then be given instructions on to complete the online diagnostic exam. If you are in a remote area with
unreliable internet access and are concern that you cannot take the exam, please mail
apsconsortium@gmail.com for assistance.
APSC understand that not all interested students have had a chance to take formal English exam, and hope
that this partnership with EPOP will enable many applicants to assess their English ability.
