Was Mata Hari Guilty of Anything Except Stupidity?
I. Introduction
A. Mata Hari was more sensual than sensuous.
B. Guilty in this case would mean that Mata Hari was going against the law
during was time. Stupidity means a foolish act that caused serious
consequences.
C. Why is the opinion divided about her? Why would people call Mata Haris
actions stupid?
D. Scope Mata Haris early life, Sources evaluation, Mata Haris actions of
stupidity, Mata Haris intentions of only having a luxuries life, She had
prepared for her death and was bold.
Mata Hari started her spy business at 1914-1917.
E. Mata Hari was only interested in money and to have a luxuries life.

V. Analysis Part II
A. She slept with many men for money.
B. She enjoyed the company of different men as she was a sex addict.
C. She joined both the German and French intelligence for the money even
though she had no intention of spying.
D. She was never thought it was immoral to love many men because she was
convinced that she deserved the attention of men.
E. She had used all her money for a luxuries life.
F. She cashed in on the gullibility of men to milk money from, to lead self
indulgent life.
VI. Conclusion
A. She had died bold with her cheerful composure intact, intensifying interest in
her for all future generations to come.
B. Future areas of research Was she the progenitor of feminism and Europes
modernism? Why would Mata Hari have an interest in money? Did Mata
Haris popularity influence Europes interest in oriental philosophy and
culture?
