TLC Ministry

I think at one time or another we have all enjoyed Tender
Loving Care (TLC) from someone. Tender Loving Care
makes us feel loved and special. What would happen if all of
us get out our responsibility list and showed everyone on it
TLC. Consider this, once a week at the end of your service,
regular church members take a quick inventory of who is
missing, who is hurting, who is a shut in, who is in the
hospital, who has a physical or spiritual need? Then make
assignments to show TLC to them by:

Trips (Visits to hospital, nursing homes, shut-ins, those
struggling/hurting missing)
Letters (Write a letter to kids who are missing they love to get
mail, not to mention adults like to get something
besides bills). Lets them know they are missed, what
is upcoming, etc
Calls (Make telephone calls to let people know you care, they
are missed, your praying/thinking of them)

The more people that participate the more contacts you will
make each week! Remember a quote by John C. Maxwell
People dont care how much you know until they know how
much you care.
Prayer Concerns for MVNU Dr. Henry Spaulding,
President, has invited the East Central Region to join
hearts with those at the University who will be
gathering for prayer at 8:00 AM, on the 15
th
of each
month to pray for MNVU.
