Process for loading Announcement in MSC

Prerequisites:
1. A CD of New or changed Announcements in WAV file
2. LAPTOP with PCC! Card and "ound #ecorder$ W!NAP a%%lications and
Windows 2&&& O"

Phrases
Steps:
1. Listen the New)Changed announcement in W!NAP %ro%erl*
2. Chec+ the Announcement and its WAV files "am%le #ate. !t should ,e 1- ,it .
/01 ono Linear PC. ost of the "ound wa2e files are recorded in "tereo so
we ha2e to first con2ert it into 1- ,it . /01 ono Linear PC with the hel% of
sound recorder.
'. After con2erting all the files as %er a,o2e "am%le #ate listen it again in W!NAP
(. Load the AP"" "oftware with su%%orting files in *our LAPTOP and restart the
LAPTOP if necessar* to chec+ PCC! Card has ,een detected or not$ for that
*ou ha2e to insert the PCC! Card in the PCC! dri2e of the LAPTOP. !f *ou
ha2e a s%are PCC! Card then load the same else ta+e it from the "C.
3. 4loc+ all the de2ices of the A!N A route ,* issuing following command.

1&. Wear the Wrist ,elt and remo2e the ;)Card safel*
11. Press the mechanical "witch right side of the ;)Card where PCC! "lot with
PCC! Card is %h*sicall* located.
12. Ta+e the PCC! Card out of the ; and insert it into PCC! "lot of LAPTOP.
1'. Chec+ in the Control Panel PCC! Card is successfull* detected.

13. Co to second O%tion ,eside the AP""8 "ettings called 8A"T Dis+
aintenance
1-. Dirst ta+e a full ,ac+ of the PCC! Card for the worst case ,* clic+ing to the last
o%tion on it called E4ac+u% an entire 8A"T dis+ into a 9com%ressed: file$ or
restore a ,ac+u% file to a 8A"T dis+F.
1?. "elect the first o%tion called E,ac+u% A"T8 dis+F and store with a filename
ha2ing e@tension .a,f and %lease ma+e sure *ou are not ta+ing ,ac+ u% of *our
PCC! Card in com%ressed mode. eans$ do not clic+ on Ema+e com%ressed
A"T8 dis+ ,ac+u% file.
1.. After ta+ing a com%lete ,ac+u% of *our %resent Announcement on *our la%to%
hard dis+ clic+ to third o%tion of AP"" "oftware called "tore %hrases.
1B. Now select the Wa2 file for %articular announcement and store the %hrases 9go to
in use %hrases:and sa2e the same.
2&. After re%eating the a,o2e %rocedure for each announcement which needs to ,e
loaded$ go to control %anel and safel* remo2e the PCC! Card.
21. Co to "C Announcement #ac+ and insert the PCC! Card into the ; and
safel* insert the same. Dirst red light will come for a while and then green light
will come for a while.
22. Come to the Terminal and de ,oc+ the ; ,* issuing the following command.
