New Headway English Course: Pre-intermediate
7 lesson: FAMOUS COUPLES
Grammar: Present perfect simple comparing to present simple, present continuous, past simple
and past continuous (We made a lot of exercises on the differences between present perfect simple
and past simple. I think, that students on this level would recognize differences between present
perfect simple, past simple and present simple and continuous), using for and since
Vocabulary: adverbs, idiomatic expressions consist of two word joined by and. I am not going to
use the short answers in the test, because I didn´t teach short answers my student and we are going
to do it later (in another unit).
I stress in this test grammar, especially difference between Present Perfect Simple and Past Simple,
because I tested vocabulary in some pop tests.
Listening – is not part of this test. I will test it individually in pop tests.
Reading - is not part of this test. I will test it individually in pop tests.
Speaking – is not part of this test. I will not test it individually, but I give some plus points to
students during the semester, for their speaking activities.
Writing – is not part of this test. I will test it with some pop tests on vocabulary.
